SYSTEM AND METHOD TO CLEAN A RANGE EXHAUST
20240116091 · 2024-04-11 ·

A method for cleaning a cooking range exhaust system includes, in response to receipt of a start signal at a control box of a cooking range exhaust cleaning system to initiate a cleaning operation, causing a cleaning solution comprising a mixture of detergent and water having a ratio based on a target mixing ratio to be provided to a supply line. An electronically-controlled valve may be caused to open to facilitate provision of the cleaning solution to a nozzle coupled to the electronically-controlled valve via a conduit for a predetermined period of time. The nozzle is arranged to spray a zone of the cooking range exhaust system.

Table fan and method for cleaning a table fan

A table fan includes a fan generating a flow of air, a cleaning device including a circulation system for guiding cleaning liquid in a cleaning circuit, a filter chamber having a suction opening via which air is suctioned downwards, and a filter element arranged in the filter chamber and having at least one portion which is located in the cleaning circuit.

A system and method is provided for demand-based control of a cold water spray system of an exhaust ventilation system. Embodiments include determining a demand load of a cooking appliance that generates cooking effluent in a vicinity of an exhaust hood, and determining a temperature of water in the cold water spray system. The cold water spray system is controlled in response to at least one of the determined appliance demand load and the determined temperature of water in the cold water spray system to maintain a low temperature of water in the cold water spray system below a predetermined temperature threshold, thereby enabling efficient removal of contaminants from the exhaust hood by the cold water spray system.
