A hot water heating system is provided with: a hot water heating device; a heating terminal; a heat circulation circuit; a circulation means; and an expansion-absorbing means. The hot water heating device is provided with: a heating passage; a heating means for heating a heat medium inside the heating passage; a pressure detection means; a supply passage connected to the heating passage; an opening/closing means for the supply passage; and a control means which opens the opening/closing means to supply the heat medium when the internal pressure of the heating passage is less than a reference value. The control means determines that the positional relationship between the circulation means and the expansion-absorbing means is inappropriate when the pressure detected by the pressure detection means at the moment the circulation means starts to be driven is lower than the pressure detected prior to driving the circulation means.

Specified is a water supply apparatus, a mixing apparatus (1) being provided for mixing, in a mixing container (3), water conveyed in the mixing apparatus (1). Arranged relative to the mixing container (3) is a base apparatus (2) which has a base chamber (9) that is hydraulically connected to a water pipe (11, 12, 13) of the water supply apparatus and has an opening to the surroundings. A sealing device (10) is installed in the base chamber (9) for the purpose of closing off the opening of the base chamber (9) from the surroundings. The sealing device (10) has a weak point wall region (17) whose pressure strength is lower than the pressure strength of wall regions of all the other components of the water supply apparatus which, in the operating state, enclose cavities that can be filled with water, and which separate these cavities that can be filled with water from the surroundings.

Multi-function pressure vessel
10876739 · 2020-12-29 · ·

A multi-function pressure vessel suited for installation in a heat transfer fluid system. The multi-function pressure vessel comprises: a tank defining an internal volume, a bladder dividing the internal volume into a heat transfer fluid chamber for ac commodating expansion fluid and a pressurized gas chamber adapted to be filled with a pressurized gas. The tank has a heat transfer fluid inlet for receiving an incoming flow of heat transfer fluid from the heat transfer fluid system and a heat transfer fluid outlet connected in fluid flow communication with the heat transfer fluid inlet by an internal pipe mounted in the heat transfer fluid chamber. The internal pipe has perforations defined therein. An air vent at an upper end of the heat transfer fluid chamber is provided for venting any air bubbles passing through the perforations in the internal pipe. A drain valve may be provided at a bottom end of the heat transfer fluid chamber for removing dirt particles flowing through the perforations in the internal pipe.

Enhanced convection, differential temperature managed, hydronic heating appliance
10690356 · 2020-06-23 ·

A system, apparatus, and method for a differential temperature managed integral, free standing, hydronic heating appliance uses a high-mass heat source coupled to a single, highly-efficient, variable speed, Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM)-driven Delta-T stand-alone system circulator which feeds one or more zone valves governing flow to one or more hydronic zones. Components are integrated into simplified, compact, assemblies. Zone valve packaging of a compact header improves hydronic performance (head pressure reduction and increased flow), complementing zone valve performance and reducing zone valve wiring labor and material content. Returns have full port valves and the boiler includes isolation valves. All manually activated valves are full port. This can include full port boiler isolation valves, circulator isolation valves and return valves. Paralleled, ganged, alignment of state-indicating-lamped zone valves provides rapid, functional indication of component and system performance while the need for a zone valve panel commonly found on hydronic heating systems is negated.
