FIBERGLASS INSULATION BACKED SOUND MAT
An acoustic isolation mat is provided for placement between a subfloor and a finished floor. The acoustic isolation mat has a first layer placed directly upon the subfloor that includes a fiberglass-containing acoustic insulation, a second layer placed directly upon the first layer that includes an entangled polymer, and a third layer placed directly upon the second layer and below the finished floor that has a sheet of fibrous material.
Universal Membrane Configured To Be Divided To Form A Base Membrane And A Cover Membrane That Is Couplable To The Base Membrane To Form An Uncoupling Membrane For Installation Between A Subfloor And Floor Tiles
A universal membrane is configured to be installed between a subfloor and floor tiles to allow movement of the floor tiles relative to the subfloor. The universal membrane includes a base layer, a plurality of studs projecting from the base layer, and a plurality of sidewalls projecting from the base layer and disposed between adjacent ones of the plurality of studs. Each sidewall of the plurality of sidewalls forming a perimeter of a pocket. The base layer forms a bottom wall of the pocket.
Building envelope and method for adjusting the temperature in a building
Disclosed is a system comprising an envelope of a structure, heat pipes and fluid conduits, the envelope of the structure including at least two shells spaced apart from one another which enclose an intermediate space being sealed against an interior and exterior of the structure. First and second pipes, embedded in the exterior-facing and interior-facing shell of the structure, respectively, penetrate the envelope of the structure and together form the heat pipe for the circulation of a fluid to increase, hold or decrease heat transition through the envelope of the structure or affect heat transport into or out of the envelope of the structure.
NON-CONTACT ACTUATION ASSEMBLY
A non-contact actuation assembly configured to operate a communication line of an infrastructure system through a panel having an external face configured to be directed into an interior of a building structure, and an opposite internal face, said assembly comprising; an actuator configured to be positioned adjacent said external face by a user during operation, said actuator comprising an actuating member constituted by at least one of a magnetic member and a magnetizable member; and an operator configured to be disposed adjacent said internal face during operation, and control communication at said communication line, said operator comprising an operating member constituted by a matching one of said magnetic member and said magnetizable member; wherein upon said positioning of said actuator adjacent said external face, in register with said operator, said actuating member and said operating member are configured to be magnetically coupled such that said operator is switchable, upon disposition of said actuator member with respect to said external face, at least between a first state in which communication in said communication line is established and a second state n which communication in said communication line is obstructed.

Convertible end cap and baseboard heater cover assembly
The present disclosure relates to a heater cover assembly for baseboard heater units and components thereof. The components include convertible end caps having cutouts and cover plates that can be used with baseboard heating units. The cutouts accommodate pipes or other obstructions that would otherwise prevent or hinder installation of the end cap.
Device for supporting and fastening heating pipes of a heating system placed in subfloors, walls or ceilings of buildings
The invention relates to a device for supporting and fastening heating pipes (20) of a heating system placed in subfloors, walls or ceilings of a building. The device comprises: a laminar body having a first face and an opposite second face, a plurality of fastening elements made in one piece on the first face of the laminar body and configured to fasten said heating pipes on the first face. The invention is characterized in that both the laminar body and the fastening elements of the device are in a mixture comprising at least one thermoplastic polymer and thermally conductive inorganic fillers.
CONCEALED HEATING SYSTEM
A concealed heating system that includes one or more heating units. Each heating unit has a frame that enables the heating units to be stacked against one another and to be attached to framing members of a wall. Each heating unit also includes a housing that is attached to the frame. The housing extends into the wall to define a recess portion through which a heat supply pipe with heat-dissipating fins attached thereto extends.
