DYNAMIC QUEST-BASED NARRATIVE FOR AMUSEMENT PARK
A dynamic quest-based experience system of an amusement park includes a memory storing instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions to cause the processor to receive a user input from a computing device indicative of starting a dynamic quest-based narrative, in which the dynamic quest-based narrative includes a plurality of sets of information. The instructions further cause the processor to place an identifier associated with the computing device in a virtual queue associated with a narrative endpoint of the amusement park, select a set of information from the plurality of sets of information based on a determined parameter, wherein the set of information is associated with a requested task, and output the set of information to the computing device.
Technological congenital talipes equino varus (CTEV) treatment success rate improvement
Real-time cast sensor measurement outputs of a set of cast sensors that each measure a characteristic related to usage of an adjustable removable cast worn by a patient during treatment of congenital talipes equino varus (CTEV) are monitored. A cast usage anomaly relative to a treatment program prescribed for the patient with respect to wearing of the adjustable removable cast is identified according to the real-time cast sensor measurement outputs. Responsive to identifying the cast usage anomaly, real-time corrective treatment feedback is provided to the patient that instructs further and proper use of the adjustable removable cast to improve compliance with the treatment program prescribed for the patient.
VAPORIZER DEVICE
A vaporization device that includes an entertainment mode or modes including one or more game modes. The vaporization device may enhance the user experience. The entertainment mode may be engaged by a sequence of predetermined manipulations of the vaporization device. The entertainment mode may include one or more interactive games using the device, and/or one or more display modes. The interactive games may include a pattern-following game, a memory game, a triggered output game, or a chance game. The entertainment mode may also include games that may be played by one or more persons. The entertainment mode may modify the operation (e.g., heater control, appearance, user interface, etc.) of the device while still permitting the vaporization of vaporizable material.
Combination of a non-word based game with a word game
Methods and systems for combining a computer-implemented word game with a computer-implemented non-word based game. One of the methods includes receiving, at a processor for controlling a game, a first input from a user of the game, the game including both a non-word based game and a skill-based word game, the first input received in response to a display of the non-word based game; providing at least one letter to the user in response to the first input received from the user; and receiving a second input from the user related to playing at least one letter in the word game.
Method and system for providing an event space associated with a primary virtual space
An approach to facilitate providing an event space associated with a primary virtual space is provided. An event space is provided to users of a primary virtual space, wherein the event space comprises one or more event objectives. Users of the primary virtual space having primary user accounts have associated event space accounts indicating event user parameters, event game parameters, and event inventory information for the first user. The user may be provided with event virtual items for purchase wherein the event virtual items are used in the event space during the event period. In response to a determination of the progress of the user associated with one or more event objectives an event award is determined for distribution to the user, wherein the event award may be used within the primary virtual space.
EVENT-BASED CURRENCY
An approach to facilitating event-based currency is provided. A first virtual currency usable by users of a game space to purchase in-space benefits may be managed. An event in the game space that is conducted during an event time period may be managed such that, during the event time period, an event virtual currency may be distributed to one or more of the users as a reward for certain operations and/or achievements performed in the game space during the event time period. Exchanges of in-space benefits associated with the event virtual currency may be effectuated for one or more of the users. In some implementations, the event virtual currency may not available to the users after the event time period, while the first virtual currency may be available to the users during and after the event time period.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING DIPLOPIA AND CONVERGENCE INSUFFICIENCY DISORDER
A method of assessing a presence and/or severity of at least one of diplopia and convergence insufficiency disorder of a patient; it includes providing a patient with an image pair configured to present a first image to a first eye of the patient and a second image to a second eye of the patient; obtaining performance information of the patient when the patient performs a task requiring the perceiving of the information content of the first image and the information content of the second image; adjusting, based on the performance information, the difference of the at least one image parameter between the first image and the second image; and assessing the degree of at least one of the diplopia and convergence insufficiency disorder of the patient based on performance information of the patient when the patient performs the task following the adjusting.
Vision protection method and systems thereof
A vision protection method is provided to ensure a viewer to rest his/her eyes after viewing on an electronic device for a certain period, wherein the eyesight protection method includes the steps of detecting at least one of eye activities of the viewer and working parameter of the electronic device in a working mode of the electronic device during the viewer is working on a current work displaying by the electronic device; switching the working mode of the electronic device to a resting mode when an abnormal eye activity of the viewer is detected; and switching the electronic device from the resting mode back to the working mode to resume the display of the current work of the electronic device. Therefore, the viewer is enforced to rest his/her eyes after every certain period.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DEVICE-BASED COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT OR THERAPY
A method and system provide a device-based multi-sensory therapeutic game, or learning development tool. A component provision module, in communication with a database, is configured to provide game components and a game generation framework. A generator module is configured to generate, in real-time and using the game generation framework and the database, scenes and assets including auditory game objects and visual game objects based on personalized user parameters. A display module is configured to display, in real-time to the user, a game that concurrently challenges the user's visual pathway, auditory pathway and cognitive pathway to create neuroplasticity, the game including the game components, and the auditory and visual game objects. The methods and systems can provide one or more of the following advantages: improve auditory processing speed; improve visual processing speed; bond auditory and visual functions; increase working memory capacity; improve attention; improve motivation; and improve eye movement control.
