Machine for Opening and Cracking Shelled Nuts
A machine for cracking and opening pistachio shells per unit, which applies pressure to both ends of the pistachio at the same time with an adjustable depth of pressure, includes is equipped with a chain having perforated pins to which pistachio receptacles are attached. The receptacles are pistachio-sized and receive the pistachios one by one. The machine is equipped with a head with a gear, which drives the chain and passes through the feeder, picks up the pistachios one by one and transports them to the head. When the receptacles reach the head the adaptors hold the pistachio on the receptacles and when the receptacles reach the top of the head, they are pressed by the pressure bearing and press the nuts onto the stranded adaptor and cause them to break or open.
Corn silk removing device
A corn silk removing device includes an elongated tube having a first end and a second end. Extending the length of the elongated tube, from the first end to the second end, is an opening. A rotating member having a plurality of soft bristles radially connected to a shaft extends through the elongated tube.
ABRADING APPARATUS
An abrading apparatus (1) including a drum (2), a movable abrasive surface (4) about at least part of the circumferential surface of the drum (2) and a plurality of treatment chambers (5) mounted about the drum (2). Each treatment chamber (5) has upstream and downstream faces (53, 54), which describe an open side facing the drum (2), such that the abrasive surface (4) forms a wall of the chamber (5). The downstream face (53) of each chamber (5) is substantially aligned with a radial plane (R) of the drum (2).

FIBRE REMOVING MACHINE CAPABLE OF REMOVING COCONUT FIBRE
A fibre removing machine capable of removing coconut fibre has a plurality of fibre removing units; wherein any two adjacent fibre removing units are spaced apart from each other by a distance to form a fibre removing space; two ends of the fibre removing space correspond to a feeding port and a discharging port, respectively; a driving device drives the fibre removing units to rotate, so that the metal bristles of the fibre removing units are able to go into and out of the fibre removing space repeatedly. Thus, after a husk-removed coconut is put in the feeding port, the coconut passes through the fibre removing space, and is transported out via the discharging port, and then the metal bristles will repeatedly scrape off the coconut fibres of the coconut while the transportation process.

Methods and apparatus for hulling crops
Improved methods and apparatus for dry hulling or dry peeling harvested crops, particularly pistachio nuts, are disclosed. The methods and apparatus of the present invention provide crop harvesting with great efficiency resulting in consistently high percentages of hulled or peeled crops and low percentages of nut breakage, without increasing processing times regardless of the sizes of the crops being hulled or peeled. The methods and apparatus of the present invention also provide for a relatively small overall machine footprint, plus easy and efficient removal and replacement of the impingement drum to accommodate for different drum speeds, different crop sizes, different bolt patterns, different bolt sizes, and other variations allowing embodiments of the invention to be used on a wide range of nuts and vegetables of different varieties, sizes and shapes.
