TUBULAR-SHAPED AND MODULAR AIR HANDLING UNIT (AHU) FOR HEATING, VENTILATING, AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) SYSTEMS
20190234649 · 2019-08-01 ·

A tubular-shaped and modular air handling unit (AHU) for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems is disclosed. In some embodiments, a modular AHU is disclosed that may include a coil module, a fan module, and an electrical module; each of which may be tubular shaped for easily coupling one to another and easily coupling to tubular-shaped (or round or circular) ductwork. Further, in the tubular-shaped and modular AHU, each module may be independent and stand alone, thereby allowing for relatively easy upgrading, replacement, and/or servicing.

COMMON VENTING SYSTEM FOR HEATING, COOLING AND DOMESTIC HOT WATER SYSTEMS

A common vent application and an independent fan coil are disclosed for improved heating, cooling and water making in a building. The independent fan coil obviates the common boilers and chillers in addition to all the common heating and cooling distribution piping used in known systems. Instead, the fan coils contain all the hydronic heating components and all the components needed to provide AC without the use of common boilers and chilled water systems. The fan coils utilize common vent shaft ducting to exhaust the products of combustion generated for the independent tankless water heater. In addition, the common vent shaft may utilize a negative static pressure environment to exhaust the heat of rejection from the AC portion of the fan coil unit.

HVAC UNIT WITH HOT GAS REHEAT
20190186761 · 2019-06-20 ·

The present disclosure is directed to a single compressor HVAC system with hot gas reheat. The system includes a single compressor, a pair of condensers, a reheat heat exchanger, an evaporator, and an expansion device. Within the system, the refrigerant exiting the compressor is separated into two portions. In the cooling mode, the first and second portions of the refrigerant are directed from the compressor through the two condensers in parallel. In the reheat mode, the first portion of the refrigerant is directed through the first condenser, while the second portion of the refrigerant is directed through the reheat heat exchanger. The system also may include a head pressure control device that is designed to maintain the compressor discharge pressure within a desired range by adjusting the condenser fan speed.

Air conditioner

In the control device 12 of the indoor unit 11, a plurality of communication means 14a to 14c having different communication speeds; communication speed recognizing means 18 for recognizing whether or not a communication line 15 from an outdoor unit 10 is connected to any of the communication means, from the communication speed of the control information signal; and communication means confirmation means 18 for confirming the communication means that performs the following communication based on the recognized communication speed, are provided. According to this, it is possible to recognize the communication speed of an input signal without providing a manual changeover switch. Therefore, it is possible to solve at least one or more of the problems that the installation work is complicated, that a setting error of the changeover switch is likely to be generated, and that the product prices increase.
