Room air conditioning system
A room air conditioning system includes a plurality of indoor units and a controller. Each of the plurality of indoor units includes: an air conditioner main body having a plurality of blow-off openings formed therein; a plurality of flaps rotatably that are disposed in the respective blow-off openings and that can independently change vertical angles of airflows; and a human body sensor that detects whether a person is present below a corresponding one of the plurality of indoor units. When at least one of the human body sensors in the plurality of indoor units detects the absence of a person in a state of selecting the airflow control, the controller causes a corresponding one of the indoor units that detects the absence to perform the temperature evenness control. This room air conditioning system successfully reduces unevenness of room temperature.
HVAC system with coil arrangement in blower unit
An HVAC system includes a front side access panel, an HVAC unit, a mounting sleeve, and a back side grille. The mounting sleeve and the HVAC unit are configured to fit within the preexisting framing of a building, and in particular to be mounted in a wall, between pre-existing studs, of a room. The HVAC unit includes an evaporator section, a mechanical section, and a condenser section. The HVAC system is optimized to maximize space utilization and support efficient installation and servicing while minimizing product intrusion into living space. The evaporator section includes a heat exchanger, an air mover, and electrical circuitry. The air mover and the heat exchanger can have a variety of different configurations, all designed for implementation within the limited confines between preexisting studs of the wall. The heat exchanger can include a coil assembly having an evaporator coil and a plurality of fins.
INDOOR UNIT AND AIR CONDITIONER
An indoor unit includes a casing, a heat exchanger accommodated in the casing, and connection pipe, connected to the heat exchanger, through which a refrigerant flows. The connection pipe includes a first refrigerant pipe made of a first metal and a second refrigerant pipe made of a second metal higher in potential than the first metal. One end of the first refrigerant pipe is connected to the heat exchanger, and the other end of the first refrigerant pipe is connected to one end of the second refrigerant pipe in the casing.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A SUPPLY AIR FLOW AT A COMFORT CASSETTE
A comfort cassette (1) and a method for control thereof, wherein the comfort cassette (1) comprises a pressure box (2) with an inlet (3) and a plurality of outlets (4) for through flow of a supply air flow (L1). The outlets (4) are arranged at more than two of the pressure box edges (5a, 5b, . . . 5n) and the outlets form a group (6a, 6b, . . . 6n) of outlets per edge (5a, 5b, . . . 5n). The outlets are arranged in a configuration which is changeable by that at least one cover member (8) when displaced in relation to the outlets. The cover member (8) is arranged to change simultaneously the configuration of all groups (6a, 6b, . . . 6n) of the outlets (4), by movement of the cover member (8) in only one direction, while the supply air flow (L1) is changeable in more than two directions by only one movement of the cover member.
Energy-saved smart safety cooling/warming wind apparatus for the four seasons
An air blower enables cold-air dehumidification by removing moisture in summer, can supply instantaneous hot air when the room temperature temporarily goes down, enables hot-air humidification by supplying moisture in winter, enables a four-season use by using an additional humidification function in spring and fall, controls room temperature and room humidity by providing an indoor temperature/humidity sensor and a water temperature sensor, saves energy by intelligently operating and stopping all the functions, provides warning signs through lamps for indicating supply or discharge or lack of water with a high/low water level gauge of a water tank and a high water level gauge of a water tank for dehumidification, prevents safety accidents such as damage or conflagration and the like of components related to a fan driving motor by providing a fan driving motor overheating prevention sensor, prevents the leakage of water when a main body falls down.
System and method for HVAC condensate management
A HVAC system includes a cabinet configured as a duct, a coil assembly disposed within the cabinet, and at least one barrier configured to substantially segregate a low pressure zone associated with a downstream side of a heat exchanger of the coil assembly from a high pressure zone, wherein a leakage path is provided between the high pressure zone and the low pressure zone.
Packaged terminal air conditioner unit
A packaged terminal air conditioner unit is provided. The packaged terminal air conditioner unit can include a heater bank jumper configured to couple one or more heater banks to a controller associated with the packaged terminal air conditioner unit. The heater bank jumper can be selectively configurable to provide at least one shunt line to couple at least one contact point associated with the controller to at least one contact point associated with the one or more heater banks. In this manner, the heater bank jumper can be configured based at least in part on an amount of current provided to the packaged terminal air conditioner unit by an electric service.
Embedded heat exchanger for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and methods
A zone-control unit for use in a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, the zone-control unit includes a heat exchanger, an inlet piping assembly coupled with the heat exchanger for supplying fluid to the heat exchanger, an outlet piping assembly coupled with the heat exchanger for receiving fluid from the heat exchanger, a bracket that maintains the inlet piping assembly and the outlet piping assembly in positional relationship, and an ancillary component coupled with the heat exchanger.
HEAT EXCHANGER WITH SPRING TUBE COIL
A heating, ventilation, and/or air condition (HVAC) system includes a heat exchanger with at least one spring tube wound in a geometric configuration formed around a geometric axis. A passage through the spring tube is configured to transport a working fluid therethrough to facilitate heat exchange between the working fluid and air directed over an exterior of the at least one spring tube.
