Spraying device and method of controlling the same for improving thermal efficiency of air conditioner

A spraying device, for spraying water onto an outdoor device of an air conditioner, including a water tank to store water, a first water level sensor to detect the water at a first water level, a second water level sensor to detect the water at a second water level, a nozzle to spray the water onto the outdoor device, and at least one processor configured to perform control to: with the stored water not being sprayed: start spraying the water onto the outdoor device, based on the water being detected at the first water level by the first water level sensor and the water being detected at the second water level by the second water level sensor, and with the stored water being sprayed: stop spraying the water onto the outdoor device, based on the water not being detected at the second water level by the second water level sensor.

Air-conditioning apparatus

An air-conditioner for performing a heating operation includes an indoor unit with an indoor heat exchanger set in an air-conditioning target space. There is an outdoor unit set outside the air-conditioning target space, the outdoor unit including a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, and an outdoor fan to supply outdoor air to the outdoor heat exchanger. Additionally, there is a humidifier to heat and evaporate condensed water in the outdoor unit to send the evaporated water into the indoor unit. The humidifier includes a water reservoir to store the condensed water in the outdoor unit, and a heating portion formed by a discharge pipe in which the refrigerant discharged from the compressor flows. The discharge pipe communicates between the compressor and the indoor heat exchanger in the heating operation, and the heating portion heats and evaporated the condensed water stored in the water reservoir with heat of the refrigerant.

System for evaporative cooling of an air conditioning condenser or a radiator to enhance efficiencies

A system to reduce the temperature of any air conditioning condenser/radiator, either through retrofit or by original manufacturing. The system is connected to a water supply for pre-cooling ambient air drawn into the air conditioning unit by providing a misting spray of water that evaporates rapidly to cool the air conditioning condenser. The system has a water supply connection connected to the water supply, a water treatment assembly for treating aspects of the water supplied, and a water delivery assembly that receives clean water from the water treatment assembly and delivers the misting spray proximate the air conditioning unit. The system may be controlled by using a wireless technology such as a Z-wave or other type of wireless controller and one or more sensors.
