Provided are an outdoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus and a method for assembling such an outdoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus. Such an outdoor unit has a structure in which an oil separator is fixed to a partition plate with an auxiliary component. An outdoor unit for an air-conditioning apparatus includes a fan chamber, a machine chamber accommodating a compressor and an oil separator, and a partition plate partitioning off the fan chamber and the machine chamber. The oil separator is fixed to the partition plate with an auxiliary component. The auxiliary component includes a leg portion fixed to the partition plate, and a bed portion attached to the leg portion such that the bed portion is detachable, the bed portion supporting the oil separator.

A chilling unit includes a machine room unit to accommodate a compressor and a heat exchanger, and a plurality of air heat exchangers placed on top of the machine room unit. They are inclined such that respective upper end portions of the two air heat exchangers have a spacing between each other greater than a spacing between respective lower end portions of the two air heat exchangers. In the lateral direction, the machine room unit has a top width greater than a heat-exchanger bottom width, the top width is one between side walls in a top face portion of the machine room unit, the bottom width is defined as a width between outer side faces of the respective lower end portions of the two air heat exchangers.

The present disclosure relates to an outdoor unit of an air conditioner including: a case that forms an outer shape; a controller that is disposed inside the case and controls the operation of various components of the air conditioner; a heat dissipation member connected to the controller to dissipate heat generated by the controller; and a support member that is coupled with the heat dissipation member to fix the position of the heat dissipation member, and has an insertion hole into which the heat dissipation member is inserted, wherein the heat dissipation member is disposed to face the controller with respect to the support member, and at least partial area of the heat dissipating member penetrates the insertion hole to prevent damage to a structure that dissipates heat of the controller to an outdoor unit of the air conditioner that is in contact with the controller.

A heat source unit including: mounting feet; a bottom frame disposed on the mounting feet; vibration-proofing members that are disposed between the bottom frame and the mounting feet and space the bottom frame apart from the mounting feet; and a plurality of struts that extend upward from the mounting feet. All of the struts are anchored to the mounting feet without being anchored to the bottom frame.

Heat source unit

A heat source unit including: mounting feet; a bottom frame disposed on the mounting feet; vibration-proofing members that are disposed between the bottom frame and the mounting feet and space the bottom frame apart from the mounting feet; and a plurality of struts that extend upward from the mounting feet. All of the struts are anchored to the mounting feet without being anchored to the bottom frame.
