HEAT-EXCHANGER FIXING PLATE AND INDOOR UNIT OF AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS

A heat-exchanger fixing plate is to fix a side portion of a heat exchanger to a housing panel of an air-conditioning apparatus, the heat exchanger including a heat radiation fin and a heat transfer tube. The heat-exchanger fixing plate includes a heat-exchanger support portion facing the side portion of the heat exchanger, and having an insertion hole through which a hairpin portion of the heat transfer tube of the heat exchanger is inserted; and a housing-panel fixing portion formed separately from the heat-exchanger support portion and fitted to the heat-exchanger support portion, the housing-panel fixing portion being fastened with a screw to the housing panel such that the heat exchanger is fixed to the housing panel. The housing-panel fixing portion is made of material having a higher mechanical strength than a mechanical strength of material of which the heat-exchanger support portion is made, and the heat-exchanger support portion is made of the material having a lower friction coefficient than a friction coefficient of the material of which the housing-panel fixing portion is made.

Devices for supporting equipment outdoors and methods of manufacture and use thereof

A device comprises: a plurality of tubular members; a plurality of nodes configured to be assembled with the tubular members and thereby form a frame configured to support an outdoor equipment item thereon; and a plurality of augers configured to be driven through the nodes into a ground such that the frame is secured to the ground when the frame supports the outdoor equipment item.

Mounting pad and method for deterring theft and securing air conditioning units against high winds

A mounting pad system and method for an HVAC outdoor unit that includes providing a lightweight fillable pad shell containing a gelling material and having securing slots extending from an underside surface to an upperside surface of the shell. The shell is filled with water through a port at its upper surface. Prior to leveling the filled pad on the soil at the site and installation of the outdoor unit, securing straps are inserted into the slots from the underside surface of the shell so as to extend through an upper surface thereof. The filling port is covered when the HVAC unit is placed on top of the pad. One or more securing anchors can be used to anchor the pad to the ground, which are also covered when the HVAC unit is place on top of the pad and an anti-theft cable can be employed to further prevent theft.

A ventilation air conditioning structure including a room that has a floor portion to a fourth wall portion, a first wall portion to be a building outer wall in which an air supply opening is formed in a vicinity of a third wall portion, and an air exhaust opening that is formed in a vicinity of the fourth wall portion. The ventilation air conditioning structure also includes an air conditioner that is disposed inside the room and where at least one of air sending openings of a room interior unit is capable of sending air in a direction of a second wall portion, and an external-air conditioner that is disposed outside the room. The external-air conditioner includes heat exchangers that are incorporated in a refrigerant circuit of the air conditioner via a branched pipe that is branched from a refrigerant piping and a casing that houses the heat exchangers.

Sleeve support for a condenser

A beam-receiving support kit bears an outdoor condenser component of a split air conditioning system through a rigid beam. The support kit generally includes a support sleeve and a brace configured to resist rotation of the beam after the kit is incorporated into a block wall or foundation. The sleeve generally includes a straight passageway for the beam between aligned openings in the wall or foundation. The brace engages the sleeve and is generally configured to extend across a portion of at least one or two webs of a standard nominal 16″ long concrete block, and may be embedded or installed on a face of the wall or foundation. The kit may be part of a masonry unit. The kit may also comprise one or more sleeves and a liner or insulator for protecting the sleeve(s).

A kitchen air-conditioning system comprises an air-conditioning assembly (1) and a range hood assembly (2); the air-conditioning assembly (1) comprises a compressor (11), a first heat exchanger (12) and a second heat exchanger (13), the compressor (11) is connected with the first heat exchanger (12) and the second heat exchanger (13) through a plurality of refrigerating medium pipes (14); the range hood assembly (2) comprises a fan (21) with a fan outlet (211), the compressor (11) is attached to the range hood assembly (2), and the first heat exchanger (12) is disposed inside the air exhaust passage. So the entire structure of the system is more compact, and easier for installation without separate installation of an air-conditioner outdoor unit, and flue gas discharged into the air exhaust passage can take away the heat of the first heat exchanger or heat the first heat exchanger, thereby improving the energy efficiency of the air-conditioner.

DEVICES FOR SUPPORTING HVAC CONDENSING UNITS OUTDOORS IN HIGH VELOCITY WIND ZONES AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE THEREOF

A method comprises: causing a volume of a material in an uncured state to be input into a container; causing a plurality of spikes hosted via a lid to extend into the volume of the material in the uncured state within the container such that the lid closes the container and the lid faces the volume of the material; causing the volume of the material within the container to change from the uncured state to a cured state within the container while the lid is closed such that the volume of the material in the cured state within the container secures the lid to the container via the spikes; and causing an outdoor HVAC condenser unit to be positioned on the container such that the volume of the material in the cured state within the container extends between the outdoor HVAC condenser unit and the lid.
