WINDOW-TYPE AIR CONDITIONER
A split air conditioner having an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. A piping system interconnects the indoor unit with the outdoor unit. The indoor unit has an indoor heat exchanger for cooling or heating air in the indoor unit. The outdoor unit has a compressor, a first outdoor heat exchanger, and a second outdoor heat exchanger. The compressor is configured to drive a refrigerant via the first outdoor heat exchanger and the second outdoor heat exchanger in a refrigerant circuit. The piping system is configured to circulate an energy transport media from the first outdoor heat exchanger via the piping system to the indoor heat exchanger.
Drainage tray for a heat pump
A drainage tray may be provided for collecting condensate from a heat pump that is adapted to be mounted on a support. The support may be mountable to at least one supporting structure to carry the weight of the heat pump and the support. The drainage tray may include a peripheral edge portion defining a central recessed portion configured to collect condensate. A condensate outlet may be provided for removing the condensate from the tray. The drainage tray may be configured to be arranged between an underside of the heat pump and the support. The drainage tray may have a trapezoidal shape.
AIR FLOW AMPLIFIER FOR HVAC SYSTEM
A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) unit includes an air flow amplifier coupled to a fan deck of the HVAC unit. The air flow amplifier includes a ring having an annular cavity and an air flow inlet formed in the ring. The air flow inlet is configured to direct an air flow into the annular cavity. The air flow amplifier also includes a first annular air flow outlet formed in the ring and configured to direct a first portion of the air flow out of the annular cavity and along an inner diameter of the ring. The air flow amplifier further includes a second annular air flow outlet formed in the ring and configured to direct a second portion of the air flow out of the annular cavity and along the inner diameter of the ring.
Window unit air conditioner installer and support rod
An adjustable assembly for installing and supporting a window unit air conditioner (WUAC) allowing a one-step easy installation and removal. The apparatus has two U-shaped horizontal member and one U-shaped vertical member that utilize the window frame and the weight of the WUAC, to install and keep the WUAC in place. The assembly fits behind and unto the spine of the WUAC as well as across the width of the WUAC. When lifted in place, the assembly fits against the window frame using gravity to securely keep the WUAC in place. The assembly may be used alone or in combination with the horizontal support member and/or the vertical member depending on the weight of the WUAC. The second U-shaped member is placed around both sides and the rear of the installed WUAC with the flange supported against the inner window frame. Using tension force, this provides support for the extruding WUAC. The vertical U-shaped member extends from the sides of the horizontal member and traverses the bottom of the WUAC to give support.
OUTDOOR UNIT OF AN AIR CONDITIONER
An outdoor unit of an air-conditioner. The outdoor unit has a casing having a front air outlet and at least one air inlet. At least one fan is located in the casing. The outdoor unit is configured such that the at least one air inlet is provided in a top section and or in a bottom section of the outdoor unit when the outdoor unit is installed in an operational position. The outdoor unit is further configured such that the at least one fan is configured to move air from the at least one air-inlet to the front air outlet or move air from front air outlet to the at least one air-inlet.
Method for cleaning air conditioner indoor unit and outdoor unit
A method for cleaning an air conditioner indoor unit and outdoor unit includes controlling a heat exchanger to enter a self-cleaning mode, adjusting an operating frequency of an air conditioner, an opening of a throttling device, and a corresponding fan speed of the heat exchanger, and maintaining an evaporating temperature of the heat exchanger within a present range to enable a frost process on a surface of the heat exchanger. When a differential pressure of the air conditioner meets a preset condition, a four-way valve changes a direction, switching defrosting to indoor and outdoor heat exchangers. When the differential pressure does not meet the preset condition, the air conditioner is adjusted to meet the preset condition and the four-way valve direction is changed to perform a defrosting switching to the indoor and outdoor heat exchangers.

DRAINAGE TRAY FOR A HEAT PUMP
A drainage tray may be provided for collecting condensate from a heat pump that is adapted to be mounted on a support.
