An energy efficient HVAC system. The system provides a bypass air supply duct, an air handler having a bypass air supply circuit, and an air supply unit that utilize return air as a source of heat that would otherwise need to be provided by a heating coil if the air, cooled sufficiently to service interior zones of a building, is too cold for servicing perimeter zones of the building, as is typically the case when the outside air temperature is low.

AIR CONDITIONING AND STERILIZATION SYSTEM

In an air conditioning and sterilization system, air supply ports and exhaust ports are provided to rooms of a building, respectively, air supply pipes and exhaust pipes are connected to the air supply ports and the exhaust ports, an air conditioning room is between the air supply pipes and the exhaust pipes to adjust temperature and humidity of an air, and the air is circulated in each of the rooms. The air conditioning room includes ventilation means that introduces external air into the air conditioning room, sterilization means that irradiates the air inside the air conditioning room with an ultraviolet ray having a dominant wavelength of 254 nm to sterilize the air, and a blower that supplies the sterilized air to each of the rooms and discharges the air from the exhaust ports by making each room have a positive pressure and the air conditioning room have a negative pressure.

Air treatment system and method of treating air

An air treatment system (100) for treating air of an inhabited space (1). The air treatment system has an air preparation module (3) and a cryogenic module (5). The air preparation module (3) is configured to receive air extracted from the inhabited space (1) and is configured to increase the pressure of the extracted air so as to increase the density and decrease the moisture content of the extracted air, thereby converting the extracted air into dry air. The cryogenic module (5) is coupled to the air preparation module (3) to receive the dry air and is configured to decrease a temperature of the dry air such that at least part of at least one component of the dry air is separated and removed from the dry air thereby converting the dry air into treated air for delivery into the inhabited space (1).
