Multi type air conditioner and cooling and heating control method thereof

A cooling and heating control method of a multi type air conditioner in which a target pressure of a compressor is adjusted based on conditions of respective indoor units so as to reduce power consumption is provided. The cooling control method includes determining the indoor unit desired to execute power saving control, judging whether or not a difference between a temperature of a space in which the indoor unit desired to execute power saving control is located and a set temperature of the indoor unit is less than a reference value, raising a target evaporation temperature of the indoor unit upon judging that the difference is less than the reference value, comparing an evaporation temperature of the indoor unit with the raised target evaporation temperature, and raising an evaporation pressure of a compressor, when the evaporation temperature of the indoor unit is lower than the raised target evaporation temperature.

INDEPENDENT TEMPERATURE CONTROL FOR ROOMS
20220307703 · 2022-09-29 ·

A temperature control (“TC”) unit and associated method for providing simultaneous independent temperature control of conditioned air to first and second rooms. The TC unit includes a cabinet. The cabinet may be divided into first and second compartments, the first compartment being adapted to receive and exhaust air from and to, respectively, the first room, and the second compartment being adapted to receive and exhaust air from and to, respectively, the second room. Sound dampening insulation may be positioned between the first and second compartments. First and second evaporators may be positioned within the cabinet so that: air from the first room passes through the first evaporator before exhausting back to the first room; and air from the second room passes through the second evaporator before exhausting back to the second room. The TC unit may be or include a vertical terminal air conditioning (“VTAC”) unit.

Air-conditioning apparatus

When indoor units are performing a cooling operation, an air-conditioning apparatus controls four flow passage switching valves, for example a first solenoid valve, a second solenoid valve, a third solenoid valve, and a fourth solenoid valve, so that a number of intermediate heat exchangers operating as evaporators is greater than in a cooling main operation. During the cooling main operation, a target value for suction pressure or evaporating temperature at a compressor is set equal to or lower than that in a case in which the indoor units are performing the cooling operation, and a frequency of the compressor and a capacity of a heat-source-side heat exchanger are controlled.

Control device, air conditioning system, and equipment system

A device control determiner outputs a control information request containing a condition of facility devices in a data possessing device group possessing control information, and a kind of the control information. A connection relationship manager manages information regarding a connection relationship among each of the plurality of facility devices. A connection route database stores information regarding a connection route from a reference device that is a reference among the plurality of facility devices to another facility device. The device grouper creates a data possessing device group based on the control information request, the connection route database and information managed by the connection relationship manager. An information collective obtainer obtains control information from the facility device in the data possessing device group through a communicator, and creates a data array of the obtained control information.

The refrigerant flow path switching unit includes: a flow path switching valve; and a case that houses the flow path switching valve. The case has: a first maintenance opening on a first side surface; and a second maintenance opening on a second side surface.

REFRIGERANT FLOW PATH SWITCHING UNIT AND AIR CONDITIONER INCLUDING THE SAME

A refrigerant flow path switching unit, disposed between a heat source unit and a utilization unit and that switches a refrigerant flow in the utilization unit, includes: a flow path switching valve; a case that houses the flow path switching valve; and an electric component box that houses an electric component that controls the flow path switching valve. AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS

An air-conditioning apparatus according to the present disclosure includes a heat medium circulation circuit, a heat-source-side device, and a voltage drop device. In the heat medium circulation circuit, a pump, an indoor heat exchanger, and a flow control device are connected by pipes to circulate the heat medium. The pump sends a heat medium that contains water or brine and transfers heat. The indoor heat exchanger causes heat exchange to be performed between the heat medium and an indoor air in an air-conditioned space. The flow control device controls a flow rate of the heat medium in the indoor heat exchanger. The heat-source-side device heats or cools the heat medium before the heat medium is sent to the indoor heat exchanger.

The voltage drop device reduces a voltage that is applied to the pump based on a value of a current that is supplied to the pump, in association with a flow rate of the heat medium in the heat medium circulation circuit.
