CARTRIDGE FOR MOUNTING LITHIUM HYDROXIDE SHEETS
A cartridge mounting an air treatment material is a housing defining a housing in a perimeter. The air treatment material is received within the housing, and spaced from the inner wall of the housing by a plurality of resilient sheets. There is an inlet direction into the housing for air flowing across the air treatment material and an outlet opening on an opposed side of the housing. There are top and bottom surfaces and side surfaces forming a perimeter about the air treatment material. The resilient sheets extend substantially continuously across the side surfaces and the top and bottom surfaces at least at the inlet end to increase airflow across the air treatment material. An enclosed inhabited space is also disclosed and claimed.
Ambient air purifier with humidification and dehumidification
Indoor air is purified using a purifying solution in an arrangement capable of removing formaldehyde and other pollutants, such as, for example, particulates. The arrangement can prevent re-vaporization of volatile compounds and can generate air that has been humidified or dehumidified. In one approach, incoming air is contacted with the purifying solution in a packed bed.

The invention relates to an exhaust air purification device for a livestock stable comprising at least one exhaust air scrubber having a filter body that can be wetted with a scrubbing liquid or that can absorb a scrubbing liquid; and a scrubbing liquid container holding a scrubbing liquid; wherein the at least one exhaust air scrubber is arranged on a moving device, the moving device being designed and arranged to immerse the at least one exhaust air scrubber completely or partially into the scrubbing liquid in the scrubbing liquid container.
Bipolar ionizer with external ion imbalance indicator
Bipolar ionizer circuit includes a high voltage AC voltage generator having a high potential output and a low potential output, the high potential output being capacitively coupled to respective high potential inputs of a pair of mutually opposite polarity voltage multipliers and the low potential output being capacitively coupled via an auxiliary capacitor to respective low potential inputs of the voltage multipliers. Outputs of the voltage multipliers are connected to respective ionizing electrodes, and an external ion imbalance indicator is connected in parallel to the auxiliary capacitor, which is thereby able to provide automatic balance of the ion current.
ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR AIR MANAGEMENT OF A ROOM
An arrangement (1) for air management of a room (100) comprises ventilating means (10) for enabling exchange of air between the inside environment (102) of the room (100) and the outside environment (103) of the room (100); a stand-alone air purifier (20), which is arranged separately from the ventilating means (10), and which is adapted to remove pollutants from the air in the inside environment (102) of the room (100); and a control system (30, 31, 32), which is in communication with both the ventilating means (10) and the air purifier (20), and which is adapted to control operation of the ventilating means (10) and the air purifier (20) in dependence of air quality data relating to the inside environment (102) of the room and the outside environment (103) of the room, the control system (30,31,32) being configured to control the ventilating means (10) and the air purifier (20) differently depending on whether the air quality data relating to the outside environment of the room (100) is above or below a predetermined reference. Operation of the arrangement (1) is aimed at optimizing indoor air quality and minimizing energy consumption.

An odor filter apparatus for a litter box, the odor filter apparatus comprising: a vent base, with a top side and a bottom side; an inlet opening in the vent base; a plurality of channels in the bottom side of the vent base, configured to direct air flow to the inlet opening; a filter housing attached to the top side of the vent base; an active odor removing element located in the filter housing; a fan assembly housing removeably attached to the filter housing; a blower fan located in the fan assembly housing; a mounting opening in the fan assembly opening; a fan exhaust sealing device attached to the mounting opening; four soft button feet attached to the bottom side of the vent base; wherein the blower fan is configured to pull air through the inlet opening, through the active odor removing element, and out through the fan exhaust sealing device. An odor filter apparatus for a litter box, the odor filter apparatus comprising: a rear wall, the rear wall configured to rigidly attach to a litter box bottom; a first side wall located on one side of the rear wall, and orientated orthogonally to the rear wall, the first side wall configured to rigidly attach to a litter box bottom; a second side wall located on an opposite side of the rear wall from the first side wall, and orientated orthogonally to the rear wall the first side wall configured to rigidly attach to a litter box bottom; a vent located in the rear wall; a filter housing attached to the rear wall, on a side opposite the first and second side walls; an active odor removing element located in the filter housing; a fan assembly housing removeably attached to the filter housing; a blower fan located in the fan assembly housing; a mounting opening in the fan assembly opening; a fan exhaust sealing device attached to the mounting opening; wherein the blower fan is configured to pull air through the vent, through the active odor removing element, and out through the fan exhaust sealing device.
HYBRID AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS
A hybrid air conditioning apparatus includes a first air conditioning device and a second air conditioning device. The first air conditioning device is a cooling and heating air conditioner, and the second air conditioning device communicates with the first air conditioning device. Air modulated by the second air conditioning device is sent to the first air conditioning device for cooling and heating air adjustment. Accordingly, the air discharged from the first air conditioning device has enhanced quality and all kinds of properties in the air are provided uniformly.
In Line Air Filtration and Purification Apparatus
A method and apparatus for an inline air purification system is described herein. An example apparatus includes a housing, a high-velocity air flow guide, a filter assembly, and a fan. The high-velocity air flow guide includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is configured to form a passage within the housing, and the second portion is configured to divert and accelerate air flow of the ambient air from the passage to a chamber of the housing. The filter assembly includes one or more filtering elements configured to receive the ambient air from the chamber. The fan is configured to draw the ambient air from the chamber through the filter assembly and to generate processed air from the ambient air. The housing is located in an HVAC duct, and occupies only part of the cross-sectional area of the duct. The remaining area of the duct accommodates bypass air flow to a primary fan in the HVAC system.
Air purification and disinfection apparatus and methods of use
An air purification and disinfection system includes an apparatus having a housing, an ultraviolet disinfection chamber, an air mover, and an air distribution unit in communication with the disinfection chamber. Air is passed through the disinfection chamber where it is purified and disinfected before it is delivered to the user of the apparatus through the air distribution unit. The apparatus can be configured as an open or a closed circuit system. The system may be configured to purify air in an airplane, a conference room, a classroom, or as a portable unit for an individual user. As a portable unit the disinfection chamber can be incorporated into a back pack, a vest, a purse, a briefcase, a shoulder bag, a cervical collar, or any other format for being carried by the user.
Air purification and disinfection apparatus and methods of use
An air purification and disinfection system includes an apparatus having a housing, an ultraviolet disinfection chamber, an air mover, and an air distribution unit in communication with the disinfection chamber. Air is passed through the disinfection chamber where it is purified and disinfected before it is delivered to the user of the apparatus through the air distribution unit. The apparatus can be configured as an open or a closed circuit system. The system may be configured to purify air in an airplane, a conference room, a classroom, or as a portable unit for an individual user. As a portable unit the disinfection chamber can be incorporated into a back pack, a vest, a purse, a briefcase, a shoulder bag, a cervical collar, or any other format for being carried by the user.
