Neonatal incubator humidifier system
A humidifier system for humidifying a microenvironment in a neonatal incubator includes a reservoir configured to hold water to be evaporated for humidifying the microenvironment. A chamber divider defines a heating chamber within the reservoir, and a movable heating element is positioned at a surface level of the water inside the heating chamber so as to heat the water at the surface level inside the heating chamber. The heating element is configured such that it is moved downward within the heating chamber so as to maintain the heating element at the surface level of the water as an amount of water in the reservoir decreases.
Steam humidifier
A steam generating humidifier apparatus (1) comprises a water container (2) with a water inlet (11) and a steam outlet (12) and at least two elongated electrodes (3, 4) arranged vertically within the container. The electrodes have each an upper electrode end (3′, 4′) and a lower electrode end (3″, 4″) and at least one of the electrodes is provided at its lower electrode end with an end piece (15) made of an electrically non-conducting material which end piece is connected to the lower electrode end. This will avoid arcing between the electrode and the water surface in cases where the water level drops so low that the electrodes are exposed.
Field replaceable fluid element methods and systems for fluidic processors
Steam cylinders for humidifiers require periodic replacement as well as replacement to address failures etc. However, field replacement of steam cylinders is not a straight-forward operation and there is significant risk and potential for damage to the replacement cylinder and the humidifier as fluidic seals for the water inlet and steam outlet must be unmade as well as electrical connections for heater elements, level sensors etc. Accordingly, embodiments of the invention provide solutions for the deployment of replacement cylinders etc. for domestic, retail, and commercial systems that reduce the likelihood of damage to the fluidic seals, electrical connectors etc.
Method of operating a humidifying module, humidifying module, and incubator or climatic chamber with humidifying module
A method of operating a humidifying module for an incubator, the humidifying module having a container with a water inlet and a steam outlet, a heating device which is arranged in the interior of the container, and a temperature sensor and a control circuit for controlling or regulating a water supply through the water inlet and/or for controlling or regulating a heat output of the heating device, wherein container is filled with water, at a maximum, so that a steam volume remains, in which there is steam generated when heating with the heating device, wherein part of the heating device protrudes from the water and projects into the steam volume, so that the steam can be superheated, and wherein the temperature sensor is arranged to directly or indirectly measure the temperature of the steam, the measured temperature being used as a control parameter by the control circuit, a humidifying module for an incubator for carrying out such a method, and an incubator with such a humidifying module.
Humidifier capable of releasing natural negative ions
A humidifier capable of releasing natural negative ions includes a humidifier body and a halite module. After an atomized gas generated from a second atomized gas outlet of the humidifier body flows into an mixing chamber, the atomized gas is controlled in the mixing chamber, part of the atomized gas flows into an accommodation chamber through perforations to be in contact with a halite, negative ions released by the halite is introduced into the mixing chamber through the perforations, the negative ions merge with the atomized gas in the mixing chamber to form the atomized gas with negative ions, and the atomized gas with the negative ions is discharged via a first atomized gas outlet, thereby solving the problem that the halite is quickly dissolved and deformed by moisture.
STEAM GENERATOR
The present invention relates to a steam generator comprising: a steam housing which forms the exterior and has a space in which water is stored; a steam heater disposed inside the steam housing and generating heat by means of an applied power; a water pipe disposed on one side of the peripheral surface of the steam housing and having a communication hole through which water is introduced from the outside into the steam housing or water inside the steam housing is discharged to the outside; an air inlet part disposed on the upper surface of the steam housing and having an air inlet through which air is introduced into the steam housing; a steam outlet part disposed on the upper surface of the steam housing apart from the air inlet part by a predetermined distance and having a steam outlet through which steam generated inside the steam housing and the air introduced through the air inlet part are discharged to the outside.
HUMIDIFIER
A humidifier includes a shell, a fixing bracket, an atomizer, and a control circuit assembly, and the fixing bracket is disposed in a containing cavity of the shell and divides the containing cavity into a first isolating cavity and a second isolating cavity opposite to each other; the control circuit assembly is disposed in the first isolating cavity, and a solution is contained in the second isolating cavity; the atomizer is positioned in the solution of the second isolating cavity and electrically connected to the control circuit assembly. The control circuit assembly controls the atomizer to atomize the solution.
MODULATING MAKEUP FLUID CONTROL SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SAME
A method for maintaining a boiling rate of a base fluid can include a determination of a fluid level of a turbulated base fluid in a reservoir. The fluid level can be determined by measuring at least one first height of the turbulated base fluid above the fluid level with at least a first sensor. The fluid level can be determined by measuring at least one second height of the turbulated base fluid below the fluid level with the first sensor. The method can include the establishment of the fluid level of the turbulated base fluid. The fluid level can be established according to the measured at least one first and second heights. The method can include the graduated introduction of an input fluid into the reservoir. A control valve can gradually introduce the input fluid in proportion to the established fluid level of the turbulated base fluid.
Humidifier and method for conditioning air
The invention relates to a humidifier (10) for a test chamber, in particular a climate chamber or the like, as well as to a method for conditioning air of a test space of a test chamber, said humidifier comprising a container (11) having a container interior (12) for receiving a water bath (13), a heating device (15) of a temperature-control system (14) for controlling the temperature of the water bath, and a ventilation system (17) for generating air bubbles (18) in the water bath, a container opening (28) being formed in the container above the water bath in order to connect the container interior to a test space of a test chamber, said humidifier comprising a cooling device (16) of the temperature-control system.
