AUTO ADDRESSING FOR HVAC SECONDARY UNITS
A system comprises a primary unit and a plurality of secondary units each having a unique unit number. The primary unit is configured to communicate a command to each secondary unit with instructions to reply during a time window. The primary unit is also configured to receive a reply communication indicating the secondary unit's unique unit number from at least one of the secondary units, and determine an address to assign to the replying secondary unit based at least in part on the received unique unit number.

METHOD OF MEASURING THE HEALTH OF A HOUSE
Disclosed are methods for measuring building health index using some mandatory and set of optionally configured parameters and utilizing building monitoring system having a connection to sensors in or pertaining to a building, and including central computing environment and one or more display devices showing the measurement. A building utilizing this method may be installed with one or more sensors, and which may be communicating to a locally installed communication device or a centrally installed computing environment that can collect the measurements over a period.

AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM, AIR CONDITIONER, AND METHOD FOR RECOGNIZING AIR CONDITIONER
A recognition process for an air conditioner is executed while the deterioration of the environment due to stoppage of the air conditioner is suppressed. In an air-conditioning system in which a plurality of air conditioners belonging to an identical refrigerant system are connected through a communication line inside the identical system and a plurality of air conditioners belonging to different refrigerant systems are connected through a communication line outside the different systems, for the plurality of air conditioners belonging to the identical refrigerant system, a recognition process is executable while an air-conditioning control process is executed by transmission through at least the communication line inside the system.

ANALOG HVAC CONTROLLER INCLUDING DIAL FOR SETTING TEMPERATURE SET POINTS
In some examples, a device controls a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system within a building. The device includes an analog display including a set of markers. Additionally, the devices includes processing circuitry configured to determine whether one or both of a cooling set point mode and a heating set point mode is activated and cause a set point to change from a first set point value to a second set point value in response to receiving a first rotation input to a dial. Additionally, the processing circuitry is configured to control a set of LEDs to transition from illuminating a first marker of the set of markers to illuminating a second marker of the set of markers, wherein the first marker corresponds to the first set point value and the second marker corresponds to the second set point value.

Remote contractor system with site specific energy audit capability
A system that allows a contractor to remotely monitor and/or interact with its customers' building control systems, such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, and analyze information obtained from the building control systems over time. Such a system may help the contractor monitor and diagnosis customer building control systems, setup service calls, achieve better customer relations, create more effective marketing opportunities, as well as other functions. In some cases, the disclosed system may include a controller that analyzes data from HVAC systems, determines a thermal model of a space environmentally controlled by an HVAC system, and provides an energy audit of the space that is environmentally controlled by the HVAC system. The controller may output a result of the energy audit to a user.
