The disclosed air conditioner can comprise: a housing having an inflow port and a discharge port; a partition disposed inside the housing so as to divide the inside of the housing into a first space at the inflow port side and a second space at the discharge port side, and having at least one opening for allowing the first space and the second space to communicate; at least one blower unit disposed in the first space, and including a duct, which passes through the opening so as to protrude toward the second space and discharges the air of the first space to the second space; and a heat exchanger disposed in the second space.

The test barrier is intended for use in testing that may be conducted on sections of an air distribution, HVAC, and other similar systems. The test barrier is comprised of a temporary test barrier portion and a gasket connection portion. The test barrier may be advantageously connected to a rip cord that enables easy removal of the test barrier upon completion of any testing.

Flexible duct connector processing system

The flexible duct connector processing system of the present invention comprises a decoiler machine and a processing machine. The decoiler machine stores one or more rolls of flexible duct connector stock which are fed to the processing machine. The processing machine beads, notches, and cuts the flexible duct connector stock according to programmed instructions received from a control system. A conveyor system disposed after the processing machine optionally collects the cut flexible duct connector stock and conveys it in batches.

A flanged duct blank has a male part defined by lead notches formed at each side of a leading end and has a female part defined by trail notches formed at each side of a trailing end. The male part includes a lock tab. The female part includes a leg part and a Z-bend. The Z-bend includes a leg part and a gap. The duct blank is repeatedly clamped and bent by a pivoting wiper to form a duct portion. The pivoting wiper includes a clench tool that has a retractable rib and a retractable roller. With the lock tab inserted into the Z-bend and the retractable rib engaged with the Z-bend, the retractable roller clenches the leg part over the lock tab to lock the male and female parts together in a duct seam.

A modular return air plenum for HVAC systems is provided that can be used to support a base an air handler unit or furnace in an HVAC system. The modular return air plenum is customizable in its width due to the use of one or more corner pieces, that when coupled together, form a connected return air plenum that is modular and adjustable in size. The modular return air plenum may include additional modular pieces that are integrated between the corner pieces. More than one modular return air plenum can be formed together and then stacked onto each other in order to increase a height of the combined modular return air plenum and provide for a taller modular return air plenum to best suit the support base needed for an air handler unit or furnace in the HVAC system.

An exposed high induction supply air duct is provided and is adapted to be installed in an open ceiling environment. Conditioned air is diffused from the supply air duct through an array of nozzles disposed along the length of the supply air duct. At the same time, existing air in an open space underlying the duct is induced upwardly towards the nozzles where the existing air is efficiently mixed with the supply air being exhausted by the nozzles.
