Flexible duct connector processing system
The flexible duct connector processing system of the present invention comprises a decoiler machine and a processing machine. The decoiler machine stores one or more rolls of flexible duct connector stock which are fed to the processing machine. The processing machine beads, notches, and cuts the flexible duct connector stock according to programmed instructions received from a control system. A conveyor system disposed after the processing machine optionally collects the cut flexible duct connector stock and conveys it in batches.
Air Duct And An Assembly For A Fume Extraction Hood
An air duct which extends substantially in a longitudinal direction (X), having a duct wall which encloses a flow cross section and has, on its inner side, at least one fastening means for fastening at least one functional element, which can be accommodated in the air duct, in a variable position in the longitudinal direction (X) of the duct.
Pipe Bend For An Exhaust Air Duct Of A Fume Extraction Hood
A pipe bend, in particular for an exhaust air duct of a fume extraction hood, which has a deflection of 60° to 120°, preferably 90°, with an inflow side and an outflow side, wherein the pipe bend has at least one air guide element which is curved in deflection direction and which extends in the interior of the pipe bend, characterized in that the pipe bend has a cross-sectional widening in flow direction behind the inflow side, in particular adjacent thereto, and a cross-sectional tapering in front of the outflow side, in particular adjacent thereto, the course of the bend of the outer wall of the bend deviating from the course of a quarter circle and having a bulge lying outside the vertex of the bend, in particular downstream of the vertex in the direction of flow.
Method of aligning a flat or profiled metal sheet
A method of aligning a flat or profiled metal sheet with preformed notches on the two sides of the metal sheet when the sheet enters into a bender or folding machine directly from a roll forming machine linked or joined to the folder. The metal sheet has to be effectively aligned on the folder before folding to avoid potential damages to the metal sheet of not being properly squared or angled on bending while reducing the times to produce the folded products. Moreover, this method according to the invention allows the metal sheet to feed directly into the folder from the rollformer without having to pass through an intermediary transfer table or aligning device/machine before entering the folder for folding or manual alignment in the folder.
Double-Walled Round and Oval HVAC Ductwork Systems Using Phenolic Insulation
The present invention involves the preparation and manufacture of phenolic insulation boards for use in double-walled ductwork systems. The preparation of the phenolic insulation board, having a first and second surface each having a foil coating, includes the cutting or grooving of V-grooves into the first surface of the phenolic insulation and first foil coating. This grooving process creates a continuous piece of phenolic insulation having trapezoidal shapes along the second surface and second foil coating. The prepared phenolic insulation board can then be wrapped around an inner sheet metal duct and then covered with an outer shell. Alternatively, the prepared phenolic insulation board can be inserted between an inner duct and outer shell. Both result in a double-walled phenolic insulation ductwork systems.
Thermoplastic elastomeric bellow duct
The invention relates to a thermoplastic elastomeric bellow duct (10) having a corrugated duct segment (12) interposed between two elbowed segments (14, 18), wherein at least one of the elbowed segments (18) is made of thermoplastic elastomeric and connected to an end section (22) of the corrugated duct segment (12) by overmolding the elbowed segment (18) over the end section (22) of the corrugated duct segment (12), and wherein the end section (22) of the corrugated duct segment (12) includes a guiding and sealing arrangement (50) pointing away from the corrugated duct segment (12) in a radial direction (32). The invention further relates to an air duct (80) having such a thermoplastic elastomeric bellow duct (10).
Apparatus and method for production of duct members
An apparatus for forming and sealing a duct member for use in an air handling system. At least one work station accommodates a work piece, which is generally a cylindrical tube.
REGISTER BOX ADAPTABLE TO DUCTWORK OF AN HVAC SYSTEM
A register box for an HVAC installation has a body with a plurality of side panels arranged in a generally rectangular or square configuration and a wall extending in generally transverse relation to the plurality of side panels, and an expandable polymeric material affixed to an inner side of the side panels and across the wall. The wall has a plurality of concentric circular areas cut into the wall. Each of the concentric areas is formed of a first partial circle having ends in spaced relation to a second partial circle. The circular area can be removed from the wall so as to allow a user to cut through the polymeric material at the wall so as to form a hole opening to an interior of the register box. This hole can receive a collar therein. The collar can be connected to the HVAC system.
Sealing plate assembly and air conditioner
The present application provides a sealing plate assembly and an air conditioner having thereof. The sealing plate assembly includes a first sealing plate and a second sealing plate mounted on one side of the first sealing plate. The two sealing plates can slide relative to each other. There is a sealing plate joint provided with a vent hole mounted on the first sealing plate and located at the end opposite to the end where the second sealing plate slides out of the first sealing plate. A connector is used for connecting the first sealing plate to the sealing plate joint, such that the first sealing plate and the sealing plate joint can rotate relatively by using the connector as the axis. A telescopic sealing plate assembly is formed through a relative sliding of the two sealing plates to adapt to the sizes of different windows.
LOCATING COLLAR FOR INSULATED REGISTER BOX
A process for forming an insulated register box includes forming an insulation across the interior surface of a register box, placing a locating collar onto an outer surface of the register box, marking the outer surface of the register box so as to present a representation corresponding to an inner diameter of the collar, separating a portion of the outer surface of the register box from a remainder of the register box corresponding to the marked representation, penetrating the exposed insulation with the collar until an end of the collar opens to an interior of the insulated register box, and positioning the flange against the outer surface of the register box.
