Duct support assembly and method of using a duct support
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a duct support assembly. The duct support assembly can include a frame structure and a duct support. The duct support can be configured to be installed in a floor assembly between a first beam portion of a first wall frame and a second beam portion of a second wall frame and to provide a duct exit from the frame structure. The duct support can be configured to transfer a tension and/or compression load. Also disclosed herein are embodiments of a method of using a duct support to provide a duct exit from a frame structure. The method can include positioning the duct support in a floor assembly between a first beam portion of a first wall frame and a second beam portion of a second wall frame.
Hanger for supporting an air handler
A hanger for suspending an air handler includes first and second elongate struts. The first strut defines a channel transversely therethrough configured for receipt of the second strut. A fastener assembly selectively fixes the second strut to the first strut.
COLLAPSIBLE COAXIAL FLEX DUCT
A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a structure having at least one area to be conditioned includes a blower configured to force an airflow through the HVAC system and a duct assembly in airflow communication with the blower. The duct assembly includes a first duct defining a flow path for a first fluid having a first temperature and a second duct having a hollow interior defining a flow path for a second fluid having a second temperature different from the first temperature. The first duct is arranged within the hollow interior of the second duct such that heat is transferred between the first fluid and the second fluid. At least one of the first duct and the second duct is formed from a collapsible material.
Parallel fan powered terminal unit
Aspects of the present disclosure include a primary air chamber configured to receive primary air, an induced air chamber configured to receive secondary air, a heating coil disposed in the induced air chamber, wherein the heating coil is removable from the induced air chamber without disassembling at least a portion of the induced air chamber, and the heating coil does not receive the primary air, a fan disposed in the induced air chamber, wherein the fan is configured to blow the secondary air received via the induced air chamber toward the heating coil and the heating coil heats the secondary air.
Under-floor pliable air duct/dispersion systems
An under-floor HVAC system for a building includes a pliable air duct lying upon a subfloor. A matrix of pedestals resting upon and extending upward from the subfloor supports a set of floor panels, which thus creates a plenum between the subfloor and the set of floor panels. The air duct extends through the plenum to convey conditioned air from a supply air duct to a series of registers in the floor panels. The registers disperse the conditioned air to a room or area just above the panels. To help keep the air duct from repeatedly extending, retracting, and otherwise sliding freely along the subfloor in response to changes in air duct pressure, the air duct is held taut by anchoring a distal downstream end of the duct to one or more of the floor-supporting pedestals. Various air duct configurations can be assembled from a predefined assortment of duct components.
TUBE GUIDE FOR HVAC SYSTEM
A tube guide for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a main body formed from a pliable material, a first slit formed through the main body, and a second slit formed through the main body and traversing the first slit to define a tube support location configured to receive a range of tube sizes.
Indoor unit of air conditioner and air conditioner
An indoor unit of an air conditioner and an air conditioner are provided. A bracket of the indoor unit has a chassis. The chassis has a limiting structure. An air duct assembly of the indoor unit is detachably engaged or magnetically connected with an upper portion of the chassis. A movable limiting member of the indoor unit is provided to the air duct assembly. The movable limiting member is configured to movably protrude from the air duct assembly and engage with the limiting structure to retain the air duct assembly within the bracket.
SUPPORT MEMBER FOR AIR PIPES OF PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONERS
A support member for air-carrying pipes of portable air conditioners which can be applied to windows (W), comprises a first module provided with a slit made to accommodate the air pipe and at least one second module made to be coaxially sliding on the first module. The second module is continuously mobile with respect to said first module to make the length of the support member modifiable.
ONE PIPE OR TWO PIPE FLUE GAS AND COMBUSTION AIR SYSTEM
The invention non-direct vent (one pipe) or direct vent (two pipe) fuel fired appliance vent terminations spaced apart to accommodate the inward flow of combustion air and/or the outwardly flow of exhaust flue gas of a fuel fired appliance. The vent termination ends are capable of engaging the terminal ends of a variety of different size exhaust conduits including fitting sockets of a conduit fitting. The vent pipe termination can include in some aspects a vent pipe termination kit which may include, but not limited to; a vent termination main embodiment, mounting plate, screws, connector elements, threaded nuts, connector element cover, protection shield, intake screen, 90 degree elbows, sloped vent fitting, T fittings, wall anchors, decals or labels, escutcheon covers, insulating materials, caulking or other similar components.
DUCT CONNECTING APPARATUS AND AIR CONDITIONER HAVING THE SAME
Provided is a duct connecting apparatus that is easily mounted on an air conditioner and an air conditioner including the same. The duct connecting apparatus that connects a duct to an inlet of an air conditioner includes a housing provided with an intake hole communicating with the duct and a discharge hole communicating with the inlet, a latch part provided on a lower end of the housing and configured to be seated and mounted on a lower edge of an edge defining the inlet, and a coupling part provided on the housing and configured to detachably couple the housing to an outer surface of the air conditioner.
