TUBULAR-SHAPED AND MODULAR AIR HANDLING UNIT (AHU) FOR HEATING, VENTILATING, AND AIR CONDITIONING (HVAC) SYSTEMS
A tubular-shaped and modular air handling unit (AHU) for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems is disclosed. In some embodiments, a modular AHU is disclosed that may include a coil module, a fan module, and an electrical module; each of which may be tubular shaped for easily coupling one to another and easily coupling to tubular-shaped (or round or circular) ductwork. Further, in the tubular-shaped and modular AHU, each module may be independent and stand alone, thereby allowing for relatively easy upgrading, replacement, and/or servicing.
AIR CONDITIONER
An air conditioner is provided that may include a case in which a heat exchanger is disposed and having an air inlet and an air outlet; a discharge pipe that communicates with the air outlet and extends outside of the case; and a kit having a discharge port in which the discharge pipe is fixed, and configured to be disposed at a window frame. The kit may include a main board in which the discharge port is formed; at least one sub-board configured to be movable up and down with respect to the main board; a rack connected with one of the main board or the at least one sub-board and forming a plurality of grooves spaced apart from each other in an upward-downward direction; and a holder connected with the other one of the main board or the at least one sub-board and having a protrusion inserted into one of the plurality of grooves to restrict upward-downward movement of the at least one sub-board.
Flexible insulated air duct and modular flexible insulated air-duct system
Provided are a flexible insulated air duct and a modular flexible insulated air-duct system; the flexible insulated air duct includes an air-duct main body (1); the air-duct main body (1) includes an inner air-duct layer (5) and a heat-insulating layer (4) integrally formed on the inner air-duct layer (5); the inner air-duct layer (5) is arranged inside the heat-insulating layer (4), and the heat-insulating layer (4) is a rubber/plastic material. The modular flexible insulated air-duct system made by assembling a main air duct (7), a branched air duct (8), and a connecting air duct (9) may be rapidly connected on-site using a zip fastener to form an air-duct system having any configuration.
Window vent assembly for portable air conditioner
A window vent assembly (15) is usable with a swing out window assembly (20) to provide an outlet for a vent hose (12) of a portable air conditioner (10). The assembly includes a substantially rigid, transparent sheet (16) with a plurality of scored break lines (46, 48, 50, 52) which enable changing the size of the sheet to close a frame opening (22) of a window frame (18). A plurality of releasably engageable clips (62, 64) enable the sheet to be releasably held in closing relation with the frame opening. A sleeve (114) is releasably engageable with the vent hose to enable venting of the heat removed by the air conditioner from the window through a sheet opening (14) in the sheet.
Environmental air cleaning device, road vehicle having environmental air cleaning device, and filter element
An environmental air cleaning device for a road vehicle removes dust, particulate matter, and/or gases from environmental air. The environmental air cleaning device has one or more filter elements. The environmental air cleaning device is provided with a mounting device that rigidly couples to a vehicle-side mounting device for roof loads. A road vehicle with such an environmental air cleaning device is provided.
Parallel Flow and Counterflow Insulated Preconditioned Air Delivery and Recirculation System
A self-insulating air delivery and recirculation system maintains a desired air temperature of the conditioned air supplied thereinto for delivery to an aircraft. The system uses insulating airflow layers; a parallel layer and a counterflow layer. A starting section connects to a PCA unit and delivers conditioned air therefrom to an interior supply hose. The starting section supplies conditioned insulating air to an interior insulating hose that is annularly outward of the supply hose and in which air flows parallel to airflow in the supply hose. A reversing connector indirectly connects the supply hose to the aircraft and reverses the flow of air from the interior insulating hose to flow back toward the PCA unit in an exterior counterflow hose that is annularly outward of the interior insulating hose and connects at its far end to provide intake airflow to the PCA unit.
