PASSENGER CABIN AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING
A passenger cabin air distribution system includes a ventilation system and an ejector-diffuser. The ventilation system is operable to provide a conditioned air. The ejector-diffuser is positioned to receive a flow of the conditioned air from the ventilation system. The ejector-diffuser includes an induction unit and a diffuser section. The induction unit includes a secondary inlet in communication with a cabin air from a passenger cabin and is configured to mix the flow of the conditioned air with an induced flow of the cabin air into a mixed air. The diffuser section includes a discharge to eject the mixed air to the passenger cabin. The diffuser section is shaped to provide for efficient mixing with low backpressure in order to maintain the low motive pressure in the nozzle.
AIR VENT
The invention relates to an air vent including a housing; plural louvers extending horizontally or vertically, pivotably arranged in the housing and aligned relative to an air outlet opening arranged in the housing, wherein the plural louvers are controllable jointly with an identical orientation by a pivot movement from a starting position into a pivot position by an adjustment device for changing an air outflow direction from the air outlet opening, wherein the plural louvers are controllable by at least one actuation element made from a shape memory alloy to adjust a diffuse air flow independently from a control by the adjustment device.

AIR CLEANER
The present application proposes an air cleaner including a blower configured to inhale air from an outside, filter the inhaled air, and discharge the filtered air; a flow adjusting device disposed above the blower, wherein the flow adjusting device is configured to inhale the air discharged from the blower, adjust a discharge direction of the inhaled air and discharge the air therefrom to the outside in a adjusted direction; and a guide member having one end passing through an upper surface of the blower and received in the blower, and the other end connected to the flow adjusting device. The guide member is configured to retract into an interior of the blower or extend from the upper surface of the blower to induce position change of the flow adjusting device. The angle defined between the upper surface of the flow adjusting device and the upper surface of the blower increases or decreases primarily based on an extent to which the guide member extends from the blower.
PROCESS FOR FORMING A REGISTER BOX THAT IS ADAPTABLE TO DUCTWORK OF AN HVAC SYSTEM
A process for forming a register box has a body formed with a plurality of side panels arranged in a generally square or rectangular configuration with a wall extending transverse to the side panels. A plurality of circular areas are cut into the wall. An expandable polymeric foam material is introduced into an interior of the body. The body is positioned in a fixture such that the wall is juxtaposed against a surface of the fixture. A plug is inserted into the interior of the body. The expandable polymeric foam material is expanded in the interior of the body such that the expandable polymeric foam material solidifies across the wall and around the plug. The plug is then removed from the body and the body is then removed from the fixture.

Air conditioner
An air conditioner of present invention comprises a housing having an outer panel forming the exterior and an opening formed on the outer panel, a heat exchanger configured to exchange heat with air flowing into the housing, and a door unit configured to open or close the opening by moving forward or backward from the opening through which the heat exchanged air is discharged. Wherein the door unit comprises a door blade configured to open or close the opening, a door operating part configured to move the door blade forward or backward, and a controller configured to control the air discharged from the opening to be moved forward from the opening in a straight line or to be discharged radially from the opening by controlling a distance between the door blade and the opening.
