PROCESS FOR FORMING A REGISTER BOX THAT IS ADAPTABLE TO DUCTWORK OF AN HVAC SYSTEM
A process for forming a register box has a body formed with a plurality of side panels arranged in a generally square or rectangular configuration with a wall extending transverse to the side panels. A plurality of circular areas are cut into the wall. An expandable polymeric foam material is introduced into an interior of the body. The body is positioned in a fixture such that the wall is juxtaposed against a surface of the fixture. A plug is inserted into the interior of the body. The expandable polymeric foam material is expanded in the interior of the body such that the expandable polymeric foam material solidifies across the wall and around the plug. The plug is then removed from the body and the body is then removed from the fixture.
Sound reduction grille assembly
A ventilation assembly and methods of forming the same includes a ventilation grille having reducing acoustic bodies configured to attenuate sound of the ventilation assembly. Arrangement of the acoustic bodies can form phononic crystal to attenuate sound and can be tuned to desired sound bands to reduce sounds.
Air conditioning apparatus
An air conditioning apparatus according to an aspect of the present invention includes a main body including a suction part through which air is suctioned and a discharge part through which the air suctioned through the suction part is discharged, a fan disposed in the main body to allow the air to flow, an electric charge device coupled to the main body outside the main body to charge dust in the air, and a filter device disposed between the suction part and the discharge part in the main body to collect the charged dust particles.
CEILING CASSETTE AIR CONDITIONER
An object of the present invention is to provide a ceiling cassette air conditioner with which design deterioration due to wind direction vanes during operation is reduced. The ceiling cassette air conditioner of this invention includes a main body arranged in a ceiling and having a rectangular cross-section opening opens on a room side, a blower fan blowing air taken in from an air inlet to a discharge outlet in the main body, a heat exchanger arranged in the main body and downstream of the blower fan and exchanging heat with the air taken in from the air inlet, a decorative panel covering the opening to be flush with a ceiling surface, and wind direction vanes arranged in the discharge outlet for adjusting blowing directions. The wind direction vanes are arranged behind the decorative panel.
OUTDOOR UNIT OF AIR CONDITIONER
An outdoor unit of an air conditioner which is capable of increasing mechanical strength of a fan guard to suppress deformation of the fan guard, and further, is capable of preventing generation of a chattering sound is provided. A diameter of wire rods which configure a lateral rail portion of the fan guard is greater than a diameter of wire rods which configure a longitudinal rail portion of the fan guard, cross-sectional crank shaped fixing plates are provided on both left and right end portions of the lateral rail portion, and the fan guard is screwed to the top panel via the fixing plates.
Indoor unit for air conditioner
An indoor unit for an air conditioner, in which a diffuser outlet through which humidified air is discharged is placed between a front panel and a grill that guides the discharged air, may produce the effect that discharged air pushes discharged humidified air, thereby allowing the humidified air to flow far away from a lateral outlet. As a result, formation of droplets on a surface of the front panel made of a metallic material may be minimized.
Diffuser and air conditioner having the same
A diffuser which reduces noise generated due to a flow of cool air when the cool air is discharged from a supply duct configured to supply cool air generated from a body provided at outdoors to the indoors, and an air conditioner having the same are provided. The diffuser includes a coupling part coupled to the supply duct, an extension part extending from the coupling part while having a taper shape such that cool air supplied through the supply duct is guided to the indoors, a mesh provided to surround an outer side of the extension part, and a housing accommodating the coupling part and the extension part, and having an opening configured to discharge the cool air supplied to the extension part to the indoors.
LAMINAR FLOW DEVICE
The present invention discloses a laminar flow device which includes a housing defining a cavity, at least one air inlet, a diffusion device and at least one uniform flow structure. The at least one air inlet is positioned within the housing. The diffusion device is positioned within the housing, and the at least one uniform flow structure is positioned within the bottom of the cavity.
Ventilation louver
A ventilation louver (10) includes a first plate (52) defining a first opening (74) therein for permitting fluid flow along a first direction (128), a second plate (54) defining a vane (82) therein, the vane at least partially covering the first opening and directing the fluid flow along a second direction (130), non-parallel to the first direction, and a third plate (56) defining a louvered opening (108) therein wherein the louvered opening directs fluid flow along a third direction (138), non-parallel to both the first direction and the second direction. In a non-limiting example, the ventilation louver may be disposed in a belly fairing of an aircraft.
Heat pump apparatus module
A heat pump apparatus module for heating and/or cooling supply water, the heat pump apparatus module including: an apparatus housing at least partly provided with an outer wall; a heat pump arrangement including a condenser, an evaporator, and a compressor arranged between said condenser and said evaporator, said compressor configured to transfer a heat transferring medium from said evaporator to said condenser; wherein said heat pump apparatus module is divided into at least two separate compartments being: an air-flow compartment including a first heat pump component being either the condenser or the evaporator, and being configured to allow air to flow through said air-flow compartment, said first heat pump component configured to utilize said air for heating or cooling said heat transferring medium; a first closeable compartment being accessible through a first closeable opening.
