In an embodiment, the outdoor unit includes a base pan including an upper surface, a lower surface opposite the upper surface, and at least one receptacle, wherein the at least one receptacle comprises an aperture. Additionally, the outdoor unit includes at least one coil locator coupled to the at least one receptacle of the base pan wherein the at least one coil locator comprises a tongue which extends through the aperture and a pair of horizontally spaced feet separate and distinct from the tongue and which are received in the aperture. Further, the outdoor unit includes a heat exchanger coil, and an outdoor fan configured to produce an airflow across the heat exchanger coil.
STANDOFF FOR DUCTWORK DAMPER ASSEMBLY, DUCTWORK DAMPER ASSEMBLY INCORPORATING SAME AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING DUCTWORK DAMPER ASSEMBLY
A standoff for a ductwork damper assembly includes a plate member and first and second leg members extending orthogonally from respective opposing sides of the plate member, the plate member having an aperture for receiving a pivot rod of a damper of the ductwork assembly, wherein the standoff is adapted for mounting on an outer surface of a section of ductwork of the ductwork damper assembly in the absence of fasteners at a site of contact between the first and second leg members and the surface of the section of ductwork.
AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
An air-conditioning apparatus includes a compressor and an outdoor heat exchanger that operates as an evaporator. A first heat exchange unit of the outdoor heat exchanger includes: first heat transfer tubes extending in an upward/downward direction, and arranged apart from each other in a lateral direction; a first junction pipe extending in the lateral direction, and connected to the lower ends of the first heat transfer tubes; an outflow pipe connected to the first junction pipe at or below a center position of the first junction pipe in the upward/downward direction; second heat transfer tubes extending in the upward/downward direction, and arranged apart from each other in the lateral direction; a first distribution pipe extending in the lateral direction, and connected to the lower ends of the second heat transfer tubes, and a first connection part connecting upper ends of the first heat transfer tubes and upper ends of the second heat transfer tubes.
AIR CONDITIONING UNIT AND ACCESS DOOR ASSEMBLY
An air conditioning appliance may include a unit enclosure, a housing, a heat exchanger, a compressor, and an access door. The unit enclosure a system compartment. The housing may be received within the system compartment. The heat exchanger may be disposed in the housing. The compressor may be in fluid communication with the heat exchanger to circulate a refrigerant through the heat exchanger. The access door may be attached to the unit wall proximal to the opening through the unit enclosure. The access door may extend between a bottom end and a top end. The access door may define a primary louver set and a secondary louver set in fluid parallel to permit airflow through the access door. The primary louver set may be defined proximal to the bottom end. The secondary louver set may be defined proximal to the top end above the primary louver set.
FABRIC COVER WITH AIR PERMEABLE PANELS
Embodiments of the present disclosure describe fabric covers, such as those used for air conditioning units, having a first air permeable panel for covering a horizontal top panel of an air conditioner unit; a second air permeable panel extending downward from the first air permeable panel for covering vertical side panels of the air conditioner unit; and an adjustable fastener provided in a bottom portion of the second air permeable panel for securing the cover to a base of the air conditioner unit.
AIR CONDITIONER
An air conditioner includes an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The outdoor unit includes a housing, a compressor, a first damping member, and a second damping member. The compressor is provided with a pipe. The first damping member and the second damping member each are disposed on the pipe. The second damping member is located at a preset position of the pipe. The first damping member and the second damping member are configured to change a natural resonant frequency of the pipe to a target frequency. The second damping member includes a housing assembly and a clamping groove. The clamping groove is disposed on a side of the cavity proximate to the pipe, so that a center of gravity of the second damping member deviates from a center of gravity of a portion of the pipe connected with the damping groove.
Outdoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus
An outdoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes: a terminal unit that is provided on an outer peripheral surface of a compressor, and electrically connects components provided in the compressor and outside the compressor; a side soundproof cover that covers the outer peripheral surface of the compressor except for the terminal unit; and a terminal cover that covers the terminal unit exposed from the side soundproof cover to the outside of the side soundproof cover, and soundproofs the terminal unit. The terminal cover is attached to the side soundproof cover such that the state of the terminal cover can be changed between a state in which the terminal cover covers the terminal unit and a state in which the terminal cover does not cover the terminal unit.
Low cost, rugged, lightweight environmental control unit
An air conditioning apparatus for cooling and/or dehumidifying an interior space, such as the interior of a shelter or tent that provides for simplified manufacturing, simplified inspection and servicing, reduced noise, reduced vibration, reduced weight, increased ruggedness and health monitoring. Structural components of the apparatus are fabricated from foam-filled molded parts with interlocking components, and the unit is assembled and tested without any outside cover, but once the cover is installed, additional structural strength is obtained from the cover.
