The outdoor heat exchanger assembly includes an outdoor heat exchanger and an outdoor fan. An indoor heat exchanger assembly is disposed in the indoor portion. The indoor heat exchanger assembly includes an indoor heat exchanger and an indoor fan. A compressor is in fluid communication with the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor heat exchanger to circulate a refrigerant between the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor heat exchanger. The single-package air conditioner unit also includes a make-up air module mounted on an external surface of the housing.

Outdoor unit

An outdoor unit includes a casing including an air passage, an outdoor fan disposed in the air passage, a compressor disposed in the casing, an outdoor heat exchanger disposed in the casing and including fins and a heat transfer tube connected to the fins, a control board disposed in the casing and including a control unit that controls the compressor, and a heat sink disposed in the air passage in the casing and being in contact with the control board. The heat transfer tube of the outdoor heat exchanger includes a first region in which gas refrigerant or two-phase gas-liquid refrigerant flows when the outdoor heat exchanger is used as a condenser and a second region that is located downstream of the first region in a refrigerant flow direction and in which single-phase liquid refrigerant flows.

Coil locator for an outdoor unit of a climate control system

Outdoor units for climate control systems and related methods are disclosed. In an embodiment, the outdoor unit includes a base pan including an upper surface, a lower surface opposite the upper surface, and at least one receptacle, wherein the at least one receptacle comprises an aperture. Additionally, the outdoor unit includes at least one coil locator coupled to the at least one receptacle of the base pan wherein the at least one coil locator comprises a tongue which extends through the aperture and a pair of horizontally spaced feet separate and distinct from the tongue and which are received in the aperture. Further, the outdoor unit includes a heat exchanger coil, and an outdoor fan configured to produce an airflow across the heat exchanger coil.

A protective seal removably fits onto the top of coil fins of a condenser unit for an air conditioning system. The protective seal has a U-shaped cross-sectional configuration that allows the protective seal to fit over and completely cover the entire top edges of the coil fins and to extend partially down the front and rear sides of the coil fins to cover an upper portion of the front and rear sides of the coil fins. The protective seal is further structured to follow the contour of the top edges of the coil fins around all sides of the condenser unit to protect the top edges and the upper portion of the front and rear sides of the coil fins when the top lid of the condenser housing is both hinged open and closed.

Outdoor unit of air-conditioning apparatus

An outdoor unit of an air-conditioning apparatus includes a housing forming an outline of the outdoor unit, a partition plate extending from a front surface toward a rear surface of the housing and partitioning an interior of the housing into an air-sending device chamber and a machine chamber, a heat exchanger disposed in the air-sending device chamber and along an end portion located at the rear surface of the housing, and a holder mounted on the heat exchanger and accommodating a temperature-measurement unit that measures an outside air temperature. The partition plate includes a first flat portion disposed with a space between a rear surface of the first flat portion and the heat exchanger and extending in a longitudinal direction of the heat exchanger, and a second flat portion projecting from a side edge portion of the first flat portion toward the heat exchanger.

An A/C system for a building used in conjunction with a pool comprises a pool pump used to filter and circulate the pool water that is coupled to an A/C refrigerant compressor unit. The A/C compressor supplies refrigerant to an evaporator coil inside of a building that is used in in conjunction with other standard A/C components located inside the building to cool the building. The pool pump is mechanically coupled to the compressor so that the pool pump motor drives both the pool pump and the compressor when the compressor is being used to move refrigerant. The compressor is connected to a water-cooled condenser coil inside of a water tank that receives water circulated from the pool pump to cool gaseous refrigerant returned from the building.
