A VENTILATION UNIT AND A SYSTEM FOR VENTILATING AN INDOOR SPACE
A ventilation unit for providing forced ventilation of ambient air into an indoor space of a building is provided. The ventilation unit may be used to reduce the relative humidity of an indoor space and provide a more comfortable indoor space environment.
DYNAMIC VENTILATION CONTROL FOR A BUILDING
Appropriate ventilation for a building space while maintaining building comfort includes tracking one or more interior environmental conditions within the building space and one or more exterior environmental conditions outside of the building space during operation of the HVAC system. An environmental model for the building space is learned over time based at least in part on these tracked environmental conditions, where the environmental model predicts an environmental state of the building space in response to operation of the HVAC system under various interior and exterior environmental conditions. A maximum allowed ventilation rate that can be achieved without causing the HVAC system to compromise on any of one or more comfort conditions of the building space is predicted using the environmental model. The outdoor air ventilation damper of the HVAC system is then controlled to provide an appropriate ventilation up to or at the predicted maximum allowed ventilation rate.
BUILDING AIR QUALITY ASSESSMENT

One system includes a one or more processors configured to receive air quality measurements of at least a plurality of air quality sensors of a plurality of spaces of the building. The one or more processors further configured to generate a plurality of air quality metrics of the plurality of spaces based on the air quality measurements and at least one IAQ performance metric, and wherein the at least one IAQ performance metric contextualizes the air quality measurements. The one or more processors further configured to generate a graphical interface including a plurality of interface objects corresponding to the plurality of air quality metrics of the plurality of spaces of the building and cause a display device of a user device to display the graphical interface.
Air cleaner
An air cleaner includes a blower, a circulator disposed over the blower, and a mover coupled to the circulator and configured to change an arrangement of the circulator. The circulator includes a lower cover, an upper cover disposed over the lower cover, a blower fan rotatably disposed between the lower cover and the upper cover, a motor disposed on an upper side of the lower cover and rotating the blower fan, an inner cover disposed over the lower cover and receiving a lower portion of the blower fan, and a bell mouth protruding upwardly from an inner circumferential end of an inner plate of the inner cover and spaced apart outwardly from a circumferential surface of a suction guider of the blower fan, so as to guide air, drawn in through an inlet of the lower cover, toward an inlet of the blower fan.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING SELF- CLEANING OF AIR CONDITIONER
A method and a device for controlling self-cleaning of an air conditioner are provided. The method comprises: acquiring operation duration, operation status parameters and air quality parameters of an air conditioner; determining an equivalent operation duration for the air conditioner according to the operation duration, operation status parameters and air quality parameters of the air conditioner; and controlling the air conditioner to perform self-cleaning when the equivalent operation duration for the air conditioner is greater than a cleaning duration threshold value. The method may prevent a problem of delayed cleaning or premature cleaning of the air conditioner which is caused by pre-estimating a self-cleaning frequency merely according to one variable which is a booting duration.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE DEVICE CAPABLE OF AUTOMATICALLY CHECKING VENTILATION SITUATION AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
An artificial intelligence (AI) device capable of automatically checking a ventilation situation includes a memory, a communication unit configured to wirelessly perform communication with an external AI device, and a processor configured to acquire indoor air quality information and outdoor air quality information, determine whether ventilation is necessary based on the acquired indoor air quality information, acquire a ventilation time based on the indoor air quality information and the outdoor air quality information when ventilation is necessary, and transmit, to the external AI device, an OFF command for turning off operation of the external AI device during the acquired ventilation time.
Air quality based ventilation control for HVAC systems
An HVAC controller and/or server may be programmed to determine if ventilation of a building is desired based, at least in part, on the one or more user-specified air quality thresholds stored in a memory, and one or more of a measure of indoor air quality and a measure of outdoor air quality. The air quality parameter threshold may relate to an air quality index, an air pollutant concentration, a smog alert, a pollen count, a dew point, a chance of precipitation, and/or the like. In addition, the HVAC controller and/or server may take into account current or future weather conditions when determining the ventilation needs of a building. Upon determining that ventilation is needed or recommended, the HVAC controller may send or display a message to the user. The message may recommendation that the user open a window or operate a ventilation system, as desired.
ENVIRONMENTALLY EFFICIENT SMART HOME AIR-QUALITY NETWORK SYSTEM
An air-quality network system for homes, the air-quality network system having an air inlet unit, an air outlet unit, and a monitoring unit. The monitoring unit monitors, measures, and transmits information regarding the air quality to a network. The data management algorithm in the network compares the air quality information against preset/user-defined values and accordingly, determines the operating parameters of the air inlet and/or air outlet units. The system provides real-time monitoring and visualization of the air quality in the home, and provides emergency alerts if air quality exceeds safety limits.

A controller for controlling an environmental condition of a building via building equipment includes a user interface configured to present information to a user, an air quality sensor configured to sense indoor air quality conditions, a communications interface configured to communicate with a server system and receive outdoor air quality data from the server system, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to generate indoor air quality data based on the sensed indoor air quality data conditions sensed by the air quality sensor, receive, via the communications interface, the outdoor air quality data from the server system, and generate one or more interfaces indicating the indoor air quality conditions and the outdoor air quality conditions based on the indoor air quality data and the outdoor air quality data and cause the user interface to display the one or more interfaces.
