Embodiments of the present technology are directed to air treatment reactor modules, and associated systems and devices. An exemplary reactor module can include a housing, an ultraviolet (UV) light source disposed within the housing, and a plurality of hollow elongate conduits disposed within the housing and peripheral to the UV light source. The UV light source and individual conduits can extend in a lateral direction perpendicular to the direction of air flow through the reactor module. The conduits can include a plurality of holes and be at least partially coated with a photocatalytic material. The housing can have an inner surface comprising a reflective material that, in operation, reflects UV light emitted from the UV light source.

INFECTION PREVENTING DEVICE

An infection preventing device includes air barrier forming units that include an air inlet for taking in air from a rear in a front-rear direction, an air purification mechanism for creating clean air by purifying the air taken in from the air inlet, and an air outlet for blowing the clean air toward the front in the front-rear direction, and are capable of blowing out the clean air from the air outlet in the form of layer perpendicular to the left-right direction. PURIFICATION DEVICE FOR EXERCISE ENVIRONMENT

A purification device for exercise environment is provided and includes a main body, a purification unit, a gas guider and a gas detection module. The purification unit, the gas guider and the gas detection module are disposed in the main body to guide the gas outside the main body through the purification unit for filtering and purifying the gas, and discharge a purified gas. The gas detection module detects particle concentration of suspended particles contained in the purified gas. The gas guider is controlled to operate and export the gas at an airflow rate within 3 minutes. The particle concentration of the suspended particles contained in the purified gas, which is filtered by the purification unit, is reduced to and less than 0.75 μg/m.sup.3. Consequently, the purified gas is filtered, and an exerciser in an exercise environment can breathe with safety.

A refrigerant leak detection and mitigation system/method for use in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems that incorporates a refrigerant gas sensor (RGS), sensor signal conditioner (SSC), alarm status indicator (ASI), and digital control processor (DCP) is disclosed. The RGS detects ambient refrigerant gas (ARG) and indicates this as a refrigerant sensor voltage (RSV) to the SSC. The DCP and SSC form a closed control loop (CCL) in which the SSC electrical characteristics are adjusted by the DCP such that the RSV is continuously and dynamically recalibrated to account for background refrigerant gas levels, changes in ambient air conditions, RGS manufacturing tolerances, and other field-specific operational conditions that impact the RGS detection capabilities. The DCP is configured to log alarms to the ASI if a RGS refrigerant leak is detected and optionally shutdown one or more HVAC system components such as a specific air handler leaking refrigerant.
