HVAC SYSTEM LEAK DETECTION
An HVAC system includes a high-pressure subsystem and a low-pressure subsystem. After determining that refrigerant leak diagnostics should be performed, a controllable valve is closed between a condenser and compressor of the HVAC system. The compressor then operates until a predetermined input refrigerant pressure is reached. After the predetermined input refrigerant pressure is reached, operation of the compressor is stopped. After stopping operation of the compressor and waiting at least a predetermined wait time, the pressure in the low-pressure subsystem of the HVAC system is monitored. A rate of change of the pressure in the low-pressure subsystem is determined. If the rate of change is negative and a magnitude of the rate of change is greater than a threshold value, a leak location is determined to be in the low-pressure subsystem.
AIR CONDITIONER AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
An air conditioner including: a compressor; a heat exchanger fluidly connected to the compressor; a pressure sensor provided in a first flow path connecting an outlet of the compressor to an inlet of the first heat exchanger; a temperature sensor provided in a second flow path connected to an outlet of the heat exchanger; and a processor connected to the compressor, the pressure sensor, and the temperature sensor. The processor configured to: acquire a reference index value based on a first reference pressure measured by the pressure sensor and a first reference temperature measured by the temperature sensor, acquire a measurement index value based on a first measurement pressure measured by the pressure sensor and a first measurement temperature measured by the temperature sensor, and display a shortage of a refrigerant of the air conditioner based on the reference index value and the measurement index value.
AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM, REMOTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND MANAGEMENT METHOD
An authentication system acquires, as authentication information, information related to a device, information related to a user or information related to a user terminal, and information indicating that the user or the user terminal is in a vicinity of the device. The authentication system performs authentication of the acquired authentication information, and permits the user for whom or the user terminal for which the authentication is successful to manage the device.
OUTDOOR UNIT, AIR CONDITIONER, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AIR CONDITIONER
An outdoor unit includes a pressure sensor for detecting an internal pressure of a first pipe. An outdoor unit controller is configured to: receive a switching signal; control an outdoor fan and a compressor to operate in a case where the switching signal instructs the outdoor unit to operate, the compressor operating at a first frequency; acquire a current state of the indoor fan in a case where the on signal instructs the outdoor unit to shut down; and control the compressor and the outdoor fan to operate if the current state of the indoor fan is an operating state, the compressor operating at a second frequency. The second frequency is lower than the first frequency. The current state of the indoor fan is obtained according to the internal pressure of the first pipe.
Control method and device of air conditioning system and air conditioning system
The present disclosure relates to a control method and a control device of an air conditioning system, and an air conditioning system, and relates to the technical field of air conditioners: the method includes: determining whether piping length compensation is required; if the piping length compensation is required, acquiring one or more metric parameters; and determining a compensation value according to the one or more metric parameters, and adjusting an operating state of the air conditioning system according to the compensation value.
BUILDING CONTROL SYSTEM WITH PEER ANALYSIS BASED ON WEIGHTED OUTLIER DETECTION
A system for assessing relative performance among a plurality of heating, ventilation, or air condition (HVAC) assets, the system comprising a processing circuit configured to identify a peer group comprising two or more of the plurality of HVAC assets having a common characteristic, generate values of a peer metric for the HVAC assets in the peer group based on corresponding operation data associated with the HVAC assets, perform a weighted outlier detection process using the values of the peer metric, and initiate an automated action in response to detecting an outlier HVAC asset.
Air conditioner and method for detecting incorrectly connected pipe in an air conditioner
An air conditioner and a method for detecting an incorrectly connected pipe in an air conditioner are provided. The air conditioner may detect an incorrectly connected pipe by performing a serial pipe inspection when three or less indoor units are connected to an outdoor unit through pipes and performing a group pipe inspection when four or more indoor units are connected to the outdoor unit through the pipes. The structure may enable detecting the incorrectly connected pipe among pipes connecting the outdoor unit to the indoor units within a shorter time.
Modular Valve System
A modular valve system having fixed valve ports with frame openings on the exterior of each port. Corresponding connectors or plugs are designed to fit within the valve ports and be locked in place by a clip passing through the framed openings and around the connector or plug. The internal valve component may be electrically or mechanically controlled. The modular valve system may be connected to a vehicle coolant system to control fluid flow to a heat exchanger or bypassing the heat exchanger.
HVAC functionality restoration systems and methods
The present disclosure includes techniques that enable a conditioned air system to automatically restore functionality and/or to operate at reduced functionality when a fault is detected, for example, to facilitate reducing likelihood that continuing operation with the fault present will decrease lifespan of the conditioned air system. To facilitate improving operation of the conditioned air system when a fault is present, the control system of the conditioned air system may utilize substitute sensor data and/or adjust its control algorithm. In this manner, the control system may facilitate improving operational reliability and/or availability of the conditioned air system, for example, by adaptively adjusting its operation to enable the conditioned air system to continue operating even when a fault is present, while reducing likelihood that the continued operation will reduce lifespan of the conditioned air system.
Air conditioner and method for controlling the same
The present disclosure provides an air conditioner. The air conditioner includes a compressor; a sensor for measuring the compressors state configured to detect compressor state information that includes at least one of a pressure value and a saturation temperature of the compressor; and a controller configured to control air flow on the side of an indoor unit by comparing the compressor state information measured from the sensor and a threshold.
