Heat pump apparatus
A heat pump apparatus includes a refrigerant circuit for circulating combustible refrigerant, and a load unit to be provided in a room and configured to accommodate a load side heat exchanger. The load side heat exchanger allows heat exchange between the combustible refrigerant and a liquid heat medium. The load unit includes a fan, an air inlet for sucking in air from the room, and an air outlet for blowing out the air, sucked in from the air inlet, to the room. The air outlet is provided at a position of a height different from the height of the air inlet.
SINGLE-PIPE THERMAL ENERGY SYSTEM
Thermal energy systems for managing, distribution and recovery of thermal energy. A single-pipe loop circulating a two-phase refrigerant is provided. The single-pipe loop is spread through the entire system and interconnects a plurality of local heat exchange stations, each having different thermal energy loads. A central circulation mechanism (CCM) is also provided for circulating the refrigerant for distribution of thermal energy within the system.
A SYSTEM FOR CONDITIONING AIR IN A LIVING SPACE
A system for providing air conditioning to a living space and heating potable water. The system comprising a heat pump circuit comprising a compressor for circulating a refrigerant around the heat pump circuit, a first condenser, a second condenser and an evaporator. The evaporator being adapted to receive a first flow of air from an air inlet to transfer heat from the first flow of air to the refrigerant. The first condenser being adapted to receive a flow of water to transfer heat from the refrigerant to the water. The second condenser being adapted to receive a second flow of air to transfer heat from the refrigerant to the second flow of air. The first flow being provided from the evaporator to a living space by an air outlet.
STRETCHABLE LAMINATES
The present invention provides stretchable laminates with a flat appearance on the visible surface. The laminates comprise a textile layer, a functional layer, and a plurality of elastic fibers. The plurality of elastic fibers are in a substantially parallel arrangement and the internal distance between adjacent fibers does not exceed the maximum fiber spacing, which depends on laminate thickness in a stretched state. Also provided are garments and footwear comprising the stretchable laminates and methods of producing the stretchable laminates.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISCHARGING CARBON MONOXIDE BY USING CARBON MONOXIDE LEAKAGE ALARM DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a system and a method for discharging carbon monoxide (CO) by using a CO leakage alarm device and, more specifically, to a system and a method for discharging CO by using a CO leakage alarm device, the system and the method being operated on the basis of the Internet of things (IoT) so as to: detect CO leakage caused by damage to a boiler flue and sound an alarm through at least two from among the CO leakage alarm device, a boiler controller, a wall pad, and the like, automatically perform boiler ventilation and indoor air ventilation when the leakage is determined; and directly notify CO leakage-related authorities and users about the CO leakage.

WATER-TO-WATER, WATER SOURCE HEAT PUMP WITH DOMESTIC HOT WATER HEAT PRIORITY REFRIGERATION CIRCUIT
The invention is directed to systems and methods for providing a domestic hot water (DHW) priority refrigeration circuit in a heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system including a storage tank, source heat exchanger (HXR), DHW HXR, load HXR, compressor, reversing valve, and DHW circulating pump, the method including: receiving at the DHW heat exchanger hot gas discharged from the compressor; determining if the DHW storage tank is below a set point temperature, and if so: activating the DHW circulating pump providing water from DHW HXR to the storage tank; condensing hot gas refrigerant by the DHW HXR to a warm liquid, traveling to the reversing valve, where if the HVAC system is in a heating mode, the reversing valve directs it to the load HXR and if the HVAC circuit is in a cooling mood the reversing valve directs it to the source HXR.
REFRIGERANT TRANSFER CONTROL IN MULTI MODE AIR CONDITIONER WITH HOT WATER GENERATOR
A method for controlling an operating discharge pressure in a multi-purpose HVAC system including an outdoor unit, and an indoor unit, the HVAC system including a plurality of flow control valves configured to isolate a the indoor unit from the multi-purpose HVAC system, a compressor and a controller, operably coupled to a water heater module, the water heater module including at least one valve, the controller executing a method including operating the multi-purpose HVAC system in a water heating mode, monitoring the operating discharge pressure from the compressor; and generating a signal commanding at least one of the plurality of control valves to isolate the indoor unit from the outdoor unit and water heating module and direct high pressure refrigerant to the indoor unit when the operating discharge pressure is greater than or equal to a predetermined pressure value.
