A fluid system of an internal combustion engine is provided with a heating device in a heating chamber. An electric heating element of the heating device is arranged between two holding bodies such that the heating element electrically and thermally contacts a contact section of at least one of the holding bodies. The heating chamber has an inner volume region between the holding bodies and at least one outer volume region arranged on an outer side of the holding bodies. The inner and outer volume regions allow fluid to flow through. The inner volume region has an enlarged section with a first spacing measured between the holding bodies. The holding bodies have a second spacing measured in a region of the contact section. The first spacing is greater than the second spacing at least at a circumferential side of the contact section facing the enlarged section.

The continuous-flow electromagnetic-induction fluid heater comprises a tubular body having a longitudinal axis, internally defining at least one channel, and including at least one inlet opening through which the fluid to be heated is fed, in use, to the channel, and one outlet opening through which the heated fluid flows out, in use, from the channel; a heating element arranged, at least partially, inside the channel; and an electric winding which is wound directly in contact around an external surface of the tubular body and which can be electrically powered to generate an electromagnetic induction field and heat, in this manner, the heating element by the effect of said electromagnetic induction field. The inlet and outlet openings are arranged at respective opposite axial ends of the tubular body in respective eccentric positions with respect to the longitudinal axis.
ELECTROMAGNETIC INDUCTION CONTINUOUS-FLOW WATER HEATER IN AN AUTOMATIC BEVERAGE PREPARATION MACHINE
An electromagnetic induction continuous-flow water heater, in particular an automatic beverage vending machine is provided. The heater includes: a tubular body having a longitudinal axis and at least one inlet, configured to receive water to be heated and to feed it, in use, into the tubular body, and an outlet, through which the heated water flows out of the tubular body; and an electrical winding wound around the tubular body and electrically powerable to generate an electromagnetic induction field. The tubular body is made of an electrically conductive material heated by electromagnetic induction. The heater further includes an insert housed inside the tubular body and extending along the longitudinal axis with the tubular body and the insert delimit at least between an external surface of the insert and an internal surface of the tubular body, a helical flow channel for the water, which extends helically around the longitudinal axis.
COFFEE MACHINE WITH DYNAMIC FLOW AND TEMPERATURE CONTROL
A coffee machine is provided. The coffee machine may include a water line configured to supply water, a pump configured to pressurize the water, a first in-line heating element configured to heat the water to an intermediate temperature, a second in-line heating element configured to heat the water from the intermediate temperature to a temperature set point during an extraction process, and one or more electronic control modules configured to receive brewing settings, the brewing settings including the at least one temperature set point, estimate, based partially on the intermediate temperature, a flow rate of the water through the first in-line heating element, and adjust, based at least partially on the estimated flow rate, a power provided to the second in-line heating element.
Wall sleeve
A wall sleeve for recessed mounting into an opening in a wall. The wall sleeve includes a top sidewall, a bottom sidewall, a left sidewall, a right sidewall and a rear wall that cooperatively defines an enclosure with an enclosure opening located opposite of the rear wall. Each of the sidewalls have identical configurations, including portions defining at least one access opening and portions defining at least one mounting opening. The mounting openings having an effective diameter smaller than an effective diameter of the access openings.
Apparatus and Method for Microwave Heating of Fluids
A microwave heating apparatus is provided herein comprising a tubing conduit consisting of two or more removable bend portions connected to each other. The tubing conduit is supported by a support system. Each removable bend portion includes a microwave emitter to heat a fluid flowing through the conduit. The apparatus can replace or be integrated into existing heating equipment used in, for example, steam cracking of hydrocarbons. Also provided are pipe segments, such as spools, that are adapted for heating a fluid by applying microwave energy. The pipe segments can be lined with microwave absorbing materials and comprise an opening through which an insert comprising a microwave emitter can be removably inserted and retained.
IMMERSIBLE APPARATUS FOR CIRCULATING AND HEATING LIQUID IN A VESSEL
