APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING EXPANSION TANK
An apparatus for supporting s a thermal or hydronic expansion tank relative to a hot water heater comprises a rigid bracket adapted to be secured to the tank and to the hot water heater. The bracket provides support for the tank adjacent to the pipe nipple. Means are provided for interconnecting the tank and the bracket for securing the tank to the bracket. In one aspect, the bracket comprises a base, and an end wall at each end of the base. The end walls adapted for engaging and supporting the tank, wherein one of the end walls engages the tank adjacent the pipe nipple and the other of the end walls engages the tank past the midpoint of the length of the tank from the base.
APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING EXPANSION TANK
An apparatus supporting a thermal or hydronic expansion tank in fluid communication via a pipe nipple with a water heater in a water piping system. The supporting apparatus comprises a mounting base adapted to be mounted directly to the water heater. A rack constructed of rigid material is adapted to be secured to the tank. The rack is fastened to the mounting base. The tank is mounted in a vertical orientation on the water heater with the pipe nipple pointing upward or downward. There is sufficient spatial separation of the tank from the mounting base to permit the tank to be insulated or otherwise covered for protecting the tank from the environment.
Hot water storage device
A hot water storage device having a vessel includes a first section formed from a molded material and a second section formed from a molded material. An open end of the first section is sealingly engaged with an opposing open end of the second section to form the vessel. The first and second sections each have a generally cylindrical body portion and a closed end, comprising a head portion. The vessel includes a water inlet aperture molded into the first or second section and a water outlet aperture molded into the first or second section and wherein the inlet and outlet apertures are located on the body portion proximal to a tangent line between the body portion and the head portion.
The tank and the bracket are interconnected for securing the tank to the bracket. In one aspect, the bracket comprises a base, and an end wall at each end of the base. The end walls are adapted for engaging and supporting the tank, wherein one of the end walls engages the tank adjacent the pipe nipple and the other of the end walls engages the tank past the midpoint of the length of the tank from the base.
Water heater having thermal displacement conduit
A water heater includes a tank containing water to be heated and a thermal displacement conduit communicating between a portion of the tank and a receptacle. Water is displaced out of the portion of the tank, through the conduit, and to the receptacle during thermal expansion of the water during heating.
FAUCET ASSEMBLY
A faucet assembly comprises: a water supply pipeline comprising a water outlet pipeline section and a water inlet pipeline section connected to each other, wherein the water inlet pipeline section contains a throat section with smaller cross sectional diameter; a shell made of hard materials and wrapped around the throat section, so as to define a closed space that contains air around the throat section, while the throat section has an opening to the closed space; a flexible membrane wrapping layer made of elastic materials and is hermetically sealed on the inner side of the shell, so that the closed space that contains air has an elastic, retractable and sealed boundary; a heater connected in series to the inlet pipeline section and is positioned in the upstream of the shell along the water outlet direction, to heat the water that is about to flow into the throat section.
System for controlling exhaust heat recovery temperature using mixing valve and method therefor
There is provided a system including: an automatic supplement valve configured to automatically supplementing direct water; an expansion tank configured to be connected to the automatic supplement valve to adjust expansion pressure depending on the temperature change of the direct water; an exhaust heat pump configured to be connected to the expansion tank to circulate heat in an exhaust heat line connecting the exhaust heat source and the hot water tank; and a mixing valve configured to be extendedly formed between a first hot water line for receiving the exhaust heat of the exhaust heat source and a second hot water line having passed through the exhaust heat exchanger of the hot water tank to mix the first hot water with the second hot water.
Control device for expansion tank and water heater
An expansion tank control device and a water heater and expansion tank including the expansion tank control device. The device may include a water flow sensor arranged in a water inlet waterway of a water heater to detect water flow in the water inlet waterway. The device can further include a controller outputting a driving electric signal after receiving a first electric signal output by the water flow sensor, and a reset electric signal after receiving a second electric signal output by the water flow sensor. The expansion tank can include an electric driving part arranged on a shell of the expansion tank, and a push plate on a driving end of the part, a controlled end of the electric driving part driving the push plate to move toward the expansion tank after receiving the driving electric signal or away from the expansion tank after receiving the reset electric signal.
Expansion tank service valve assembly
A plumbing system pressure protection valve assembly that utilizes a unitary body to connect a hot water tank to a cold water supply, a vacuum breaker, and an expansion tank. The assembly includes two ball valves coupled to the unitary body to isolate the hot water tank from the cold water feed and to isolate and permit draining of the expansion tank. The assembly also includes a rod and foot coupled to a tab on the unitary body to provide support for the expansion tank service valve assembly.
