Hybrid water heater
A heat pump water heater has a tank, a heat source, and a heat pump system. The heat pump system has a refrigerant path, at least a portion of which is in thermal communication with the water tank volume so that heat transfers from refrigerant to the water tank volume. A fan causes air to flow through a housing, and another portion of the refrigerant path includes an evaporator in the housing. The fan is within the housing and may further be within a second housing. The first housing may comprise a baffle to direct air flow. The fan may be a variable speed fan in communication with a controller, so that the controller controls the fan speed depending on a temperature of the refrigerant.
Device for cooling a fluid
A device for cooling a fluid that solidifies in a predefined temperature range, in particular a melt. The device has a cooling chamber for receiving or conveying a coolant, at least one pipeline for the fluid, at least a section of which is arranged within the cooling chamber, and at least one heating device arranged within the pipeline.
Leak detection system for water heaters
A water heater with a leak detection system includes a leak sensor assembly that is disposed in an insulation cavity between an inner storage tank and an outer protective jacket of the water heater. The leak sensor assembly is configured to detect water that leaks from the storage tank. Further, the water heater includes a barrier that is disposed in the insulation cavity and wrapped around the inner storage tank to channel the water that leaks from the storage tank towards the leak sensor assembly, and prevent the water that leaks from the storage tank from flowing through an insulation material that is disposed in the insulation cavity.
Combined Heater And Accumulator Assemblies
Exemplary embodiments are provided of combined heater and accumulator assemblies. In an exemplary embodiment, an assembly generally includes an enclosure including a first portion, a second portion, and a divider between the first and second portions. The assembly also includes an inlet through which coolant may enter an interior of the second portion, and an outlet through which the coolant may exit the interior of the second portion.

The assembly also includes an inlet through which coolant may enter an interior of the second portion, and an outlet through which the coolant may exit the interior of the second portion. The assembly further includes a heat source operable for supplying heat for heating the coolant within the interior of the second portion.
Faucet device for aircraft lavatory unit
Provided is a faucet device for an aircraft lavatory unit, wherein a second joint and a third joint are joined by inserting the third joint of a heater module into a second joint of a valve module, and screw members are used to fasten a first case and a second case. As a result, the valve module and the heater module are joined in series via the second joint and the third joint. A first connector of a controller module is joined to a third connector of the valve module and a second connector of the controller module is joined to a fourth connector of the heater module. The first joint of the valve module is joined to a water supply pipe. A fourth joint of the heater module and a faucet main body are joined via a pipe.
