The first heating appliance includes a first blower and a first wireless communication unit. Further, the second heating appliance is operatively coupled with the first heating appliance as a twinned unit. The second heating appliance includes a second blower and a second wireless communication unit. The system also includes a primary control unit configured to receive speed data indicative of a speed of the first blower and speed data indicative of a speed of the second blower. The primary control unit is further configured to output a blower speed control signal to at least one of the first blower and the second blower to synchronize the first blower and the second blower.

Combustion Air Blower with Embossed Housing
20220107116 · 2022-04-07 ·

A combustion air blower includes a blower housing, an impeller fan within the blower housing, and an embossment to restrict airflow from the combustion air blower. The blower housing has a discharge conduit defining a discharge passageway. The discharge conduit is adapted and configured to receive a baffle such that, when the baffle is received, the baffle extends inwardly into the discharge passageway from a first wall towards a second wall opposite the first wall. The baffle restricts airflow within the discharge passageway. The embossment is in the discharge passageway and in the second wall and extends towards the first wall such that the embossment restricts airflow within the discharge passageway. The embossment cooperates with a baffle to provide a reduced cross sectional area of the discharge passageway in comparison to an upstream portion.

GAS FIRED WINDOW HEATER

A heater is disclosed that is installed in a window opening in a room for heating the room. The heater has a cabinet having an inner and an outer cabinet with an air gap therebetween, with a heating chamber in the inner cabinet. A burner is provided that is located on an outside wall of the heater. The burner has an inlet and an outlet with a combustion nozzle therebetween, with the burner outlet in communication with a respective serpentine heat exchange tube within said heating chamber where the heat exchange tube receives the hot products of combustion from its burner and discharges the products of combustion to the atmosphere. The heater has a blower that draws air from within the room and forces the air over and around the heat exchange tube(s) within the heating chamber discharges the heated air back into the room.

Topside induced draft fan

This concept is very new, and it will allow for safe and continuous operation of gas heating units when the induced draft fan no longer operates. This device will allow the HVAC service technician to continue to operate the gas heating unit until the proper replacement induced draft fan can be acquired and installed on the gas heating unit. This invention is a supplemental induced draft fan that will attach to the exhaust output side of a gas heating units inoperable induced draft fan to draft air through the heat exchanger and create a vacuum to the pressure switch at a rate to be regulated by a control switch to make the gas heating unit operate safely until the correct part is acquired and installed.
