METHOD FOR OPERATING A HEAT PUMP
20240102670 · 2024-03-28 ·

A method for operating a heat pump (1) which transfers heat to a fluid heat transfer medium which circulates in a heating circuit is provided. An outside temperature is acquired. When the outside temperature is higher than a limit temperature, a runtime of an electric heating rod (2) of the heat pump (1) and/or energy consumed by the heating rod (2) are acquired. When the runtime exceeds a first limit value within a specified period of time and/or the energy consumed by the heating element (2) in the specified period of time exceeds a second limit value, a message is output.

CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COMBINATION SPACE AND WATER HEATING

An apparatus and system for a combination space and water heater including a controller device and a method for control. The controller device is a self-contained system that can be added to, or in combination with, existing water heaters and hydronic air heating systems using standard plumbing connections, and provides a potable water system without any need of an intermediary heat exchanger. The controller device automatically monitors a heating capacity of the water heater and the hydronic heating coil over time, and correlates measured heating loads with one or more environmental temperatures, thermostats, user settings, and/or a supplemental heating system.

HEATING AND HOT WATER SUPPLYING DEVICE

A heating and hot water supplying device is provided. The device comprising: a circulation passage that connects a heat exchanger and an external heating terminal; a bypass passage that bypasses the heating terminal by branching from the circulation passage; a hot water supply passage for supplying the hot water heated to a preset hot water supply temperature by the heat exchanger for hot water supply; a control unit that controls operations in which this plurality of units are used; and an operation unit for performing various operations. A distribution means is provided in the branching portion of the bypass passage. The distribution means adjusts the distribution ratio so that each of a heating operation, a hot water supplying operation, and a simultaneous heating and hot water supplying operation is possible. The operation unit is provided with a prohibit switch to prohibit the simultaneous heating and hot water supplying operation.

Water Heater with a Heat Pump Device and Method for Controlling a Heat Pump Device

A water heater comprising a heat pump device and a water tank is provided. A temperature controller operates the heat pump device based on a comparison of a measured water temperature and the set temperature. The water heater further comprises a source temperature sensor measuring the temperature of a heat source serving to provide heat energy to the heat pump device process. The source temperature sensor measures a source temperature and provides a source temperature value to the temperature controller. The temperature controller adapts a activation temperature in response to the measured source temperature. The water heater provides an improved accuracy of the temperature controller without unnecessarily reducing the life expectancy of the heat pump device. Furthermore, a corresponding method for controlling a heat pump device in a water heater is suggested.

SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING HOT OR COLD WATER

Disclosed is a system for the production of hot or cold water including: a water reservoir suitable for supplying water to a thermal conditioning device, and/or to a tap; a refrigeration unit having heat exchangers, of which one of the two heat exchanger is immersed in a water receptacle; pipes providing communication between the water reservoir, the water receptacle, a water network, the tap and thermal conditioning devices. The system further includes a box body containing the refrigeration unit and a ventilation mechanism configured to generate an airflow passing through the heat exchangers of the refrigerating unit.

Air conditioning system

An air conditioning system includes a heat pump unit including a radiator usable with a refrigerant, a gas furnace unit including a heating section arranged to heat passing air, a blower arranged to generate an air flow that passes through the radiator and the heating section, a first temperature sensor provided in a room, and a controller configured to control each action of the heat pump unit, the gas furnace unit, and the blower. The temperature sensor detects an indoor temperature in the room. The controller causes the gas furnace unit to operate as a heat source unit when a difference value obtained by subtracting the indoor temperature from a set temperature is equal to or greater than a first threshold at startup, and causes the heat pump unit to operate as a heat source unit when the difference value is less than the first threshold at startup.

WATER THERMOREGULATION DEVICE HAVING AN ELECTRIC HEAT PUMP

A water mixing system attached to an existing plumbing system supplying ambient temperature water and providing temperature regulated water to a user. The water mixing system includes an insulated water tank, a heat pump connected to the insulated water tank with a heat rejecting radiator inside the insulated water tank and a heat absorbing radiator outside the insulated water tank, a temperature detector in the insulated water tank, and one outlet of the insulated water tank connected to a first inlet of a first dispensing water tank. Having a second inlet to receive the ambient temperature water from the existing plumbing system and at least one dispensing outlet, the first dispensing water tank provides mixed water of a desirable temperature from heated water from the insulated water tank and the ambient temperature water via control of the valves attached to the first inlet and the second inlet.
