MODULAR METER ROLLER SHAFT SYSTEM
A modular meter roller for an agricultural metering system. The modular meter roller system includes a modular shaft that rotates. The modular shaft includes a first shaft section. The first shaft section includes a first shaft portion. The first shaft portion supports a first roller segment. A second shaft portion couples to the first shaft portion. A second shaft section supports a second roller segment. The second shaft section defines an aperture. The second shaft section couples to the second shaft portion by sliding over the second shaft portion. An end cap couples to the second shaft section. The end cap couples a first end plate to the modular shaft.
METER ROLLER SYSTEM
A modular meter roller for an agricultural metering system. The modular meter roller includes a shaft that rotates. A first roller segment that defines a first aperture that receives the shaft. The first roller segment receives and meters flowable particulate material in a groove via rotation of the shaft. A first end plate couples to the shaft. The first end plate blocks removal of the first roller segment in a first axial direction. A second end plate removably couples to the shaft. The second end plate enables an exchange of the first roller segment with a second roller segment and blocks removal of the first roller segment in a second axial direction during operation of the modular meter roller.
Deflectable touchdown wheel system for sprayer boom
A deflectable touchdown wheel system for a sprayer boom of an agricultural sprayer is provided that includes a touchdown wheel that deflects transversely when contacting the ground at an angle, damping ground contact impact forces at the sprayer boom reducing reactionary forces such as external steering inputs at the sprayer vehicle.
Self-Propelled Agricultural Sprayer
A deflectable touchdown wheel system for a sprayer boom of an agricultural sprayer is provided that includes a touchdown wheel that deflects transversely when contacting the ground at an angle, damping ground contact impact forces at the sprayer boom, reducing reactionary forces such as external steering inputs at the sprayer vehicle.
Cannabis farming systems and methods
Methods to produce a spray-dried active tetrahydrocannabinol powder and/or cannabidiol powder are described. The methods include introducing a heated gas and a liquid mixture of water and active tetrahydrocannabinol and/or cannabidiol into a spray dryer and then separating powder from the spray-dryer in a two-step separation process. Counter-current spray dryers and co-current spray dryers are described followed by separation of the powders with a cyclone, filter, electrostatic precipitator, or sifter.
Non-Metallic Product Tank For An Agricultural Machine
The present invention provides an agricultural product delivery system in which a support structure or skid well is configured to rigidly support a primary product storage tank that is manufactured from a non-metallic material such as polyethylene or plastic. The product storage tank can have a capacity of at least 500 gallons, and preferably 1000 gallons, and the support structure can include multiple support ribs spaced along sides of the tank for providing rigid support for the tank and preventing deformation when filled with liquid. In addition, the product storage tank can include one or more contours or cavities for accommodating smaller chemical injection tanks positioned therein. Such chemical injection tanks can also be rigidly supported by the support structure. A spray system can mix liquid from the product storage tank and chemical from a chemical injection tank for spraying a field.
Breakaway boom segment with perforated outer walls
A breakaway boom segment is provided with perforated outer walls. The breakaway boom segment ma have a fabricated box configuration with cutouts, which may include a pair of multi-flanged channel pieces that are connected to each other with respective channel openings facing each other and pairs of upper and lower flanges connected to each other to provide a box configuration and having an interior space that is accessible through openings of the cutouts.
Apparatus for dispensing flowable media and a method for operating an apparatus for dispensing flowable media
An apparatus for spraying flowable media and in particular plant protection agents onto plants, has at least a first spray unit and a second spray unit wherein each of the spray units has a tubular conduit unit that extends in a predetermined longitudinal direction and is suitable and intended for conducting a flowable plant protection agent, and wherein each of the spray units has at least one spray head that is in flow communication with the conduit unit associated therewith
The spray units are provided in a pivotable manner in relation to a predetermined pivot axis on a carrier, and the apparatus has an adjustment unit that allows both the first spray unit and the second spray unit to be pivoted between a working position and an idle position.
Systems and methods for handling fluid for application to agricultural fields
A system for dispensing a fluid includes a container including a sidewall defining an interior space for holding the fluid and configured to separate the fluid into a liquid and a vapor. The system also includes at least one fluid inlet disposed in the sidewall, at least one liquid outlet disposed in the sidewall, a first sensor, a second sensor, and a controller. The first sensor is positioned adjacent to or upstream of the at least one fluid inlet and configured to detect a first temperature of the fluid. The second sensor is positioned adjacent to or downstream of the at least one liquid outlet and configured to detect a second temperature of the fluid. The controller is configured to determine a fluid temperature differential based on the first and second temperatures and determine an operational status of the system based on the fluid temperature differential.
Spray system for a self-propelled agricultural machine having adjustable tread width and rear wheel nozzles
A self-propelled agricultural sprayer can be configured with a spray boom, adjustable width wheels and rear wheel spray nozzles arranged over rear wheels of the adjustable width wheels, so that the rear wheel nozzles ensure proper coverage of an agricultural field behind the rear wheels according to location. A control system can determine front wheel nozzles disposed on the spray boom that are counterpart spray nozzles to the rear wheel nozzles based on a width of the wheels, and implement activation/deactivation states of the rear wheel nozzles based on the counterpart front spray nozzles. The activation/deactivation states of the spray nozzles can be determined by geographic location of the machine using a UPS location. The rear wheel nozzles can be arranged with respect to fenders of the rear wheels, so that the rear wheel nozzles move laterally with the rear wheels.
