FAILSAFE GAS LEAK DETECTION AND MITIGATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A failsafe hydrocarbon-based gas (HBG) leak detection (HLD) and mitigation (HLM) system/method for use in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems that incorporates a hydrocarbon gas sensor (HGS), sensor signal conditioner (SSC), alarm status indicator (ASI), and digital control processor (DCP) is disclosed. The HGS detects ambient hydrocarbon gas (AHG) and presents a hydrocarbon sensor voltage (HSV) to the SSC. The DCP and SSC form a closed control loop (CCL) in which the SSC electrical characteristics are adjusted by the DCP such that the HSV is continuously and dynamically recalibrated to account for background HBG levels, changes in ambient air conditions, HGS manufacturing tolerances, and other field-specific operational conditions that impact the HGS detection capabilities. The DCP is configured to log alarms to the ASI if a HGS HBG leak is detected and optionally shutdown gas flow to one or more HBG target (HBT) system components.
HEATING DEVICE COMPRISING A GAS SENSOR AND METHOD FOR OPERATION THEREOF
A heating device as well as a method for the operation thereof. The heating device has an outer housing that surrounds an installation space. The components of heating device are arranged inside or on the outer housing, particularly a burner unit, a fan, a fuel valve and as an option a circulation pump. At least one of these units comprises at least one electrical and/or electronic component. On one or more of the anyway present electrical and/or electronic components at least one gas sensor is arranged on the outer housing and/or inside the installation space, particularly on a support or a circuit board of the respective electrical and/or electronic component. The at least one gas sensor is configured to create a sensor signal that describes the presence and/or concentration of at least one gas component in the atmosphere. Based thereon leakages, faults, undesired backflow, etc. can be determined. Thereupon a respective measure can be initiated, e.g. the output of a warning message and/or suction of the atmosphere by means of fan.

Tankless water heater with display and electronic control
An apparatus and method for heating water using a tank or a tankless water heater with improved electronic control. The improved electronic control may include voice and Wi-Fi control of the water heater to allow for remote control of the water heater including through a remote server or cloud server.
Gas hot water supply
In a gas hot water heater, changes of the signal output of an A/F sensor are calibrated in the atmosphere, in which the A/F sensor detects an oxygen concentration in a combustion tube. The gas supplied via a gas supply pipe is injected, together with in-taken air, into a combustion tube, which is incorporated in a hot water supply tank, via an injection unit. A proportional valve controls a combustion state in the combustion tube based on the detected oxygen concentration to thereby heat water supplied in the hot water supply tank. A purging process is performed to supply air into the combustion tube, at a timing between an extinguishment operation first performed after the ignition the gas mixture in the combustion tube and a re-ignition operation. Changes of signal output characteristics of the A/F sensor are subject to the calibration after the purging process.
WATER HEATER DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
An apparatus and method for heating water using tankless water heater with improved rain cap.
Water Heater Device and Method of Use
An apparatus and method for heating water using a tank or a tankless water heater with improved electronic control.
TOWEL WARMING APPARATUS
Embodiments relate generally to a heated towel rack that includes at least one lateral support, at least one forced air heating unit in fluid communication with a channel within a lateral support, and at least one cross bar coupled to the at least one lateral support. The at least one cross bar including at least one vent that traverses into a conduit within the cross bar. The channel is in fluid communication with the at least one vent by way of the conduit.
Monitor for a natural gas-fired appliance

The monitor comprises: a natural gas cycle-monitor interface configured to receive cycling signals from one or more of: the appliance; and a monitoring device located in the appliance and/or proximal to the appliance; a processor, in communication with the interface, configured to monitor cycles of the appliance based on the cycling signals; one or more indicators, in communication with the processor, configured to provide an alarm when the processor determines that the cycles of the appliance meets a threshold value; a first reset device configured to temporarily reset the one or more indicators to turn off the alarm when actuated, the one or more indicators again providing the alarm after a given time period following a temporary reset; and, a second reset device configured to reset monitoring of the cycles at the processor when actuated.
Condensing boiler employing evaporation device
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a condensing boiler employing an eco-friendly evaporation device, in which condensed water generated in a latent heat exchanger is removed by using the evaporation device, so that the condensing boiler can be installed in a site without a processing facility for discharging condensed water and contribute to energy saving. For implementation thereof, the present invention comprises: a blower (110) for supplying a supply-air; a sensible heat exchanger (140) for absorbing combustion sensible heat generated in a combustion chamber (130) by combustion by a burner (120); a latent heat exchanger (150) for absorbing latent heat of steam included in combustion gas which has finished heat exchange in the heat sensible exchanger (140); and an evaporation device (160) which absorbs condensed water generated in the latent heat exchanger (150), and has an evaporation type humidifier (161) for evaporating and removing the absorbed condensed water by using air supplied from the blower (110).
