SOLUTIONS FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES WITH INTEGRATED MOUNTING SYSTEMS

Embodiments of solutions for PV modules with integrated mounting systems are presented. Application of the systems are found primarily but not solely in commercial and industrial rooftop solar installations. The disclosed solutions allow for a very flexible use of said PV modules with integrated mounting systems in various installation situations, with a focus on demonstrating concepts that show direct applicability of mounting featured for adhesive as well as for ballasted solutions, as well as the combination of both. Support features that enable ergonomic transport and installation are highlighted. Features for alignment, for providing structural strength as well as reliable, strong, yet accommodating interlinkage of PV modules are disclosed. The use of polymeric or fiber reinforced polymeric frames and mounting structures eliminates the need for grounding. Features are presented which a focus on not requiring tooling or hardware along with the installation.

Support assembly for photovoltaic modules and mounting system using the same

A support assembly for mounting photovoltaic modules on a support surface and a mounting system including the same are disclosed herein. The support assembly may comprise a the body portion including a base portion and at least one upright support member coupled to the base portion, the at least one upright support member comprising an integrally formed ballast tray slot in one side thereof for receiving an upturned edge of a ballast tray; and at least one clamp subassembly coupled to the at least one upright support member of the body portion, the at least one clamp subassembly configured to be coupled to one or more photovoltaic modules. In addition to a plurality of support assemblies, the mounting system may further comprise at least one ballast tray support bracket, the ballast tray support bracket supporting a portion of a ballast tray on the support surface.

The present invention relates to a mobile generator device (1) having at least one alignable solar panel (2a, 2b), wherein the solar panel (2a, 2b) can be moved in a transport position (TP) and at least one operating position (BP). The invention is characterized in that the generator device (1) has a housing shell (3a) with a peripheral area (4), wherein the solar panel (2a) is hinged to the housing shell (3a) so that the solar panel (2a) is in the transport position (TP) within the housing shell (3a) and does not project over the peripheral area (4). Moreover, the invention relates to a cooling system having the mobile generator device (1) according to the invention and a control, and a cooling device, in particular a freezer, having at least one cooling circuit, wherein the cooling circuit has a compressor, an evaporator, and a condenser. The cooling system according to the invention is characterized in that the power supply of the cooling system is provided by the mobile generator device (1) and the control regulates the cooling system in dependence of the power supply.

Provided is a device for supporting solar modules, including a base rail having a first receiving opening , a support, the support having a first connecting element which is arranged in the first receiving opening, and a securing rail which is arranged on the base rail so as to at least partially encompass the base rail and is movable along the base rail. The securing rail at least partially closes the first receiving opening in a second position so that a movement of the first connecting element out of the first receiving opening is prevented. The securing rail unblocks the first receiving opening in the first position in such a way that a movement of the first connecting element out of the first receiving opening is made possible. Furthermore, a kit, a method for manufacturing a device, and a solar module arrangement are provided.
