Retaining device for solar cell module
A fastening system fastening solar cell modules to an installation surface, each solar cell module having a top surface at which a solar cell substrate is provided, a bottom surface at the opposite side to the top surface, a first side part, and a second side part at the opposite side to the first side part, the fastening system comprising a plurality of support members which abut against the first side parts or the second side parts of the solar cell modules, the plurality of support members supporting the bottom surfaces and the first side parts and the second side parts of the solar cell modules, and fastening members which prevent at least vertical movement of the solar cell modules with respect to top surfaces, the fastening members being movably attached to the plurality of support members, is provided.
Pile cap with integrated bearing housing
This disclosure relates to the design of pile cap assemblies configured to rotatably couple the torque tube of a photovoltaic solar tracker to multiple support piles that elevate the torque tube above the ground. The pile cap assemblies define low friction bearings that allow the torque tube to rotate smoothly within the low friction bearings. The pile cap assemblies also include numerous mounting hole configurations that allow for adjustment of a position of the pile cap assemblies with respect to the support piles. This allows for any small variation in positioning of the support piles to be accommodated.
Fastening Structure and Method for Fitting a Coupling Profile to a Pitched Roof Covered with Shingles
The invention relates to a fastening structure for being able to fit a coupling profile, in particular for fastening solar panels, to a pitched roof covered with bituminous shingles. The invention also relates to an assembly which includes a fastening structure according to the invention. The invention further relates to a kit of components which includes a fastening structure according to the invention. The invention further relates to a method for fitting a coupling profile, in particular for fastening solar panels, to a pitched roof covered with bituminous shingles, by using a fastening structure according to the invention.
Photovoltaic module mounting and installation system
A photovoltaic system comprises a photovoltaic module attached to a photovoltaic mount frame, the mount frame having a rectangular shape. A deflector is attached to the mount frame by a rotatable deflector and mount frame attachment wherein the deflector pivots around the rotatable deflector and mount frame attachment from a nesting position under the photovoltaic module in the mount frame to an installation position raising at least a first side of the mount frame. A mount foot is attached to the deflector by a rotatable mount foot and deflector attachment wherein the mount foot pivots around the rotatable mount foot and deflector attachment from a nesting position in a mount foot nesting indention in the deflector to an installation position planar to a mounting surface.
ALIGNMENT BRACKET
An alignment bracket suitable for facilitating the connection of solar components in a PV system may include a first surface, a second surface, and an attachment member. The first surface may be configured to physically interface with a corresponding surface of a solar component of the PV system. The second surface may be configured to physically interface with a corresponding surface of a support column. The attachment member may include an engagement surface configured to engage with a part of the support column to facilitate a position of the second surface relative to the corresponding surface of the support column.
Device and method for fixing objects, in particular solar panels, to a roof
The invention relates to a device for fixing objects, in particular solar panels, to a roof. The invention also relates to an assembly of such devices. The invention further relates to a method for fixing objects, in particular solar panels, to a roof.
PANEL MOUNTING BRACKET ASSEMBLY INCLUDING AN ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT EXTENSION DEVICE AND RELATED METHODS
A system for mounting at least one solar panel on a building may include at least one panel mounting bracket including a base to be positioned on the building, a vertical extension having a proximal end coupled to the base and a distal end vertically spaced apart from the base, and a first lateral extension carried on an exterior surface of the vertical extension. The system may further include an adjustable height extension device for the at least one panel mounting bracket including a lower portion, an upper portion carried by the lower portion to be connected with the at least one solar panel, a second lateral extension carried by the upper portion and vertically aligned with the first lateral extension, and a height adjustment screw including a head carried by the upper portion to set a vertical height of the upper portion.
DIRECT ANCHORING SOLAR MODULE SYSTEM AND INSTALLATION METHOD
A mounting system and techniques for securing solar panels to a fixed structure including a plurality of mounting brackets and tracks and a plurality of mounting feet that connect to the tracks and anchor to the fixed structure. Each mounting bracket has a means to interconnect and interlock with the mounting brackets on adjacent solar modules. In addition, the mounting feet have a quick release mechanism to connect and disconnect from the track. The mounting feet are appropriately selected for the given fixed structure or roof type. The solar module system, in accordance with certain embodiments, has toggle anchors to reliably mount into sheathing plywood or OSB material. The solar module system, in accordance with certain embodiments, also describes an electrical conduction and coupling system for solar modules that integrates electrical coupling with mechanical coupling at the point of mechanical attachment.
DEVICE FOR ATTACHING A SOLAR PANEL
Disclosed is a device for attaching a solar panel including at least two retaining elements, suitable for retaining a panel by engaging with two opposing parts of the solar panel, at least one of the retaining elements being movable in a direction defined by a guide system and in such a way as to allow an adjustment of the spacing between the two retaining elements. The device includes: an assembly including a fixed support and the mobile retaining element, the mobile retaining element and the fixed support consisting respectively of two synthetic parts, in particular two plastic parts, the guide system being produced by mutually engaging structures between the mobile retaining element and the fixed support produced as a one-piece component with the parts forming the fixed support and the mobile retaining element.
