The mounting component includes a fixing portion and a connecting portion, an end of the connecting portion is detachably connected to the water guider, and another end of the connecting portion is connected to the fixing portion to form a clamping opening with the water guider and the fixing portion, which is configured to clamp the frame. The sensor mounting member includes: a sensor holding portion configured to cover the sensor so as to hold the sensor between a top surface of the track rail and the sensor holding portion; and a pair of leg portions, which are formed at both ends of the sensor holding portion, respectively, and are configured to sandwich the track rail from both sides in a width direction of the track rail while being elastically deformed. Further, along with sandwiching of the track rail by the pair of leg portions, the sensor holding portion presses the sensor onto the top surface of the track rail.

Solar module clips that may be advantageously employed in solar trackers to decrease time and effort in the installation and the alignment of solar modules as well as address mechanical challenges posed by extreme weather events and other forces encountered in the course of use. Alignment may be simplified by tabs on the module clips that secure the solar panels as well as provide a visual marker. Module clips may also include other features, such as any of standoffs, module stops, or pillars for ease of installation and further constraining movement of solar panels.

In some embodiments, a clamp with a right portion with a right notch having a right platform, a left portion with a left notch having a left platform, and a base portion with a flexible hinge is disclosed. The left portion also includes a threaded aperture extending downwardly from the left platform. In some embodiments, a method of securing a component with the clamp is disclosed in which a right member of a component is inserted into a right notch of a clamp, an applied force imparts movement of a left notch away from the right notch, and a buildup of potential energy in the flexible hinge during the application of the force moves the left notch in the opposite direction to engage the left member of the component.

The invention furthermore relates to a method for aligning a solar panel (20), with respect to an installation rail attached to a base, in particular a roof, prior to installation by using at least one such device (1), optionally followed by the installation of the at least one solar panel (20) to the support rail.
