ROOF MOUNT ASSEMBLY WITH STABILIZED FASTENER MATRIX
A roof mount assembly includes a bottom plate securable to a roofing structure and a top plate mounted on top of the bottom plate. The bottom plate includes a first compressible sealing pad affixed to a bottom surface and compressed between bottom plate and roofing surface. The top plate includes a second compressible sealing pad affixed to its bottom surface that is compressed when the top plate is secured mounted over the bottom plate via fasteners extending through holes in the top plate and threaded into bores in the bottom plate. The top plate may include a central crown and a connector projecting upward therefrom to secure an object over the roofing structure.
MODULAR FLOATING PLATFORM FOR SOLAR PANEL STRAPS AND BALLAST TRAY HOLD-DOWNS FOR SOLAR PANEL STRAPS
A floating platform for solar panels is provided. The floating platform may include a plurality of plates. Each of the plurality of plates may have a ballast chamber filled with a ballast material. Each of the plurality of plates may further have a float chamber disposed over the ballast chamber. Each of the plurality of plates may further have a channel passing through the ballast chamber and the float chamber. The channel may further have one or more openings to pass water into the ballast chamber and an opening to pass air from the channel. Each of the plurality of plates may further have a locking member. Each of the plurality of plates may further have one or more connection sections for placing one or more strap assemblies. The strap assemblies may be provided for disposing one or more solar panels on the plurality of plates.
Solar panel mechanical connector and frame
A bracket for coupling frames of solar panels includes a spacer for positioning between frames. An elongated body passes through a slot in the spacer and is positionable within channels formed in the frames. A clamp secures to the spacer and is biased toward the slot and elongated body, such as by means of a spring. The clamp defines seats for receiving portions of the frames of the solar panels. Sloped portions on end portions of the clamp facilitate insertion of the frames between the elongated body and the clamp. Another type of bracket includes a spacer and clamp, the spacer having protuberances for insertion into channels in the frames. A flange extends from the spacer such that it extends between the frames when the protuberances are positioned within the channels. An L-foot or other fixture may secure to the flange to secure the solar panels to a structure.
Photovoltaic mounting system with chemical flashing
Photovoltaic mounting systems that form chemical flashings are provided herein. Such sealant injection systems provide directional control and containment of sealant flow to form a chemical flashing that improves sealing of roof penetrations. Such systems can include a base assembly adapted to mount to a roof surface and support a mounting bracket having a photovoltaic module coupling device. The base assembly can include a sealant guide, a compressing plate and a sealant cartridge held between the guide and compressing plate by one or more coupling features of the guide. The coupling features can include a first set of features, such as a series of tabs, that facilitate coupling between the guide and the compressing plate. The base assembly can further include a base that releasably couples to the sealant guide by a second set of coupling features. Methods of mounting such base assemblies on roof surfaces are also provided.
Fixture for on-roof installation object and fixing structure of on-roof installation object
A fixture includes a substitutive roof member that includes a base part, a base opening, a tubular wall that is erected from a peripheral edge of the base opening, a top face that extends inwardly from a top end of the tubular wall and forms a top face opening, and a pair of guide surfaces that each extend downward from peripheral sides of the top face opening, the substitutive roof member being made of a metal; and a mounting base that includes a pair of planar bottom plates that is provided in such a size as to pass through the top face opening, a pair of rising walls that are each erected from inner sides of the bottom plates, a connection part that connects upper sides of the rising walls, and a fixing member mounting part that is exposed at the connection part for mounting a bolt.
Photovoltaic module mounting structure
Various embodiments of mounting structures for solar photovoltaic (PV) modules and methods for constructing such mounting structures are described. A mounting structure is usable to secure PV modules in portrait orientation or landscape orientation. PV modules are secured to PV module support rails, which may be secured to purlins of a mounting structure using clamps. In some embodiments, self-adhesive grounding patches are used to establish electrical grounding paths in various embodiments of mounting structure.

SOLAR PANEL MOUNTING SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS
In various embodiments, a mounting system may comprise a downslope rail, an upslope rail, a first clamp and a second clamp. The downslope rail may have a first profile and comprising a downslope face and an upslope shelf. The upslope rail may have a second profile and comprising a downslope shelf and an upslope face. The first clamp may be configured to engage the downslope face and accept the installation of a first end of a solar panel. The second clamp may be configured to engage the upslope face and retain a second end of the solar panel against a downslope shelf
Torque tube mounted photovoltaic apparatus, system, and method
An interlocking system for connecting photovoltaic module frames to a torque tube, including: (a) an interlock dimensioned to be positioned between the sides of two adjacent photovoltaic module frames; (b) a pair of couplings or flanges, wherein the couplings or flanges connect the interlock to both of the adjacent photovoltaic module frames; and (c) a U-lock connected to the interlock, wherein the U-lock is dimensioned to be connected to a torque tube.
Mounting device for a metal roof
A mounting device or clamp is provided that can be secured to a roof joint without damaging the roof joint. Two roof panels can be joined at a roof joint that extends away from the roof. The clamp has a body with a slot to receive the roof joint. An insert of the clamp is rotatable relative to the body from a first position to a second position. The clamp body can be positioned over the roof joint, and the insert can rotate or pivot from the first position to the second position relative to the body to secure the clamp to the roof joint. In one embodiment, a body of the clamp has a first arm that is concave and the insert has a concave portion to engage the roof joint. Alternatively, in another embodiment, the insert can be connected to the clamp body such that either a first projection or a second projection of the insert faces a roof joint.
