The coupling parts have integrated mechanical locking elements, which prevent drifting or separating apart of a coupled solar panel and rail in a direction perpendicular to the solar panel surface and parallel to the solar panel surface. The coupled tongue and groove are balanced by a set of forces and integrated to support each other, and to support solar panel with combined mechanical strength, which provide opportunities to reduce materials usage, dimensions, packaging materials, shipping costs, and installation time, as well as limiting installer error.

An astragal is located with a portion of the astragal extending over the edge of the solar panel. A fastener is engaged through the astragal and the curb assembly such that a portion of the astragal contacts and compressively engages the top surface of the supported solar panel edge, whereby the solar panel is mounted to the roof.

Single-piece hinged-clamps employed used in assemblies used to mount solar power modules to surface installation are disclosed. In some embodiments, a clamp with a right portion with a right notch having a right platform, a left portion with a left notch having a left platform, and a base portion with a flexible hinge is disclosed. The left portion also includes a threaded aperture extending downwardly from the left platform. In some embodiments, a method of securing a component with the clamp is disclosed in which a right member of a component is inserted into a right notch of a clamp, an applied force imparts movement of a left notch away from the right notch, and a buildup of potential energy in the flexible hinge during the application of the force moves the left notch in the opposite direction to engage the left member of the component.

Provided is a device for supporting solar modules, including a base rail having a first receiving opening , a support, the support having a first connecting element which is arranged in the first receiving opening, and a securing rail which is arranged on the base rail so as to at least partially encompass the base rail and is movable along the base rail. The securing rail at least partially closes the first receiving opening in a second position so that a movement of the first connecting element out of the first receiving opening is prevented. The securing rail unblocks the first receiving opening in the first position in such a way that a movement of the first connecting element out of the first receiving opening is made possible. Furthermore, a kit, a method for manufacturing a device, and a solar module arrangement are provided.

Absorber system

An absorber system solves problems of known absorber systems for use in solar fields in that the absorber tube is suspended on a rail below an absorber cover. The design also makes it possible to move measuring and cleaning robots and the like along the absorber tube more and allows the absorber tube and the secondary reflector to be jointly suspended, whereby an exact mutual alignment between the two components is enabled.

Mount assemblies with chemical flashings

Chemical flashings for track assemblies and mount assemblies employed in solar power installations are disclosed. In some embodiments, a track assembly having a base, a pair of rails, a sealant receiving cavity and a round groove extending into the base from the bottom of the base, and a compressible round seal disposed within the base extending past the bottom is disclosed. In some embodiments, a mount assembly having a vertical structure, a sealant receiving cavity and a round groove extending into the base from the bottom of the base, a compressible round seal disposed within the base extending past the bottom, and an excess sealant cavity is disclosed.

Hidden end clamp

A clamp particularly designed for use on the end of a solar module mounting rail, includes two hinged parts that can be adjusted by a fastener to clamp a solar module to the rail. A pull-tab with toothed catches helps to position the clamp during installation, and also prevents the clamp from sliding too far into the rail, while a grip body increases friction and electrical contact between the solar module and the clamp.

The adjustment element, which is arranged between the two side walls of the head segment, can be locked in different latching positions on the head segment.
