SOLAR CELL APPARATUS
This solar cell apparatus is provided with: a long mounting frame having a guide rail section in an upper portion; and a fixing member, which is provided by being slid and moved in the longitudinal direction of the mounting frame, and which is fixed at a predetermined position of the mounting frame. The fixing member has: a base section that engages with the guide rail section; an upright wall section that is provided to stand on the base section; and insertion sections that extend from the upright wall section such that the insertion sections are inserted into a module frame of an eave-side solar cell module and a module frame of a ridge-side solar cell module.
RAIL ASSEMBLY WITH INVERTIBLE SIDE-MOUNT ADAPTER FOR DIRECT AND INDIRECT MOUNTING APPLICATIONS
A rail assembly includes a rail and an adapter. The adapter may be slidably interconnected with the rail via a first rail channel on a first rail side of the rail, and may also be slidably interconnected with the rail via a second rail channel on a second rail side of the rail. The adapter may be inverted (whether installed via the first rail channel or the second rail channel) between two different orientations that dispose a mounting flange at different elevations to accommodate two different mounting configurations.
Waterproofing Mounting System for Attaching Solar Modules to a Roof
A roof mounting system for the attachment of an article to a roof, the system comprising a plurality of PV modules each having at least one corner and a frame member, a flashing member having a top surface; an upstanding sleeve attached to the top surface of the flashing member; an elevated water seal having a borehole formed therethrough, the elevated water seal further comprising at least one screw for providing a waterproof seal between the article and the roof structure; and whereby the plurality of PV modules are interlocked in a way to provide a corner-to-corner coupling arrangement supported above the roof through the frame members of the plurality of PV modules.
DATA ROUTING IN COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS
A method, a system, and a computer program product for data routing in communications systems. A data packet is received and an internet protocol (IP) address of the data packet is determined based on the source of the data packet. A forwarding route for transmission of the data packet is determined. The forwarding route is selected from a specific IP route for a content offload network interface or a default route for a mobile network operator packet data network gateway. The data packet is transmitted based on the determined forwarding route.
FASTENER FOR A PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE FRAME, AND METHOD FOR FASTENING THE LATTER
A fastener for photovoltaic module frames on a substructure comprises a mounting body and a locking element. The mounting body comprises a first engaging portion for engaging in the substructure and at least one second engaging portion for engaging in the photovoltaic module frame. The locking element is designed to fix the mounting body to the substructure, so that when the mounting is effected in this way, the photovoltaic module frame is held to the substructure only via the mounting body.
Torque actuated rail assembly
A system to connect a structure, such as a photovoltaic module, to a rib of a metal panel of a building surface. The system includes a torque actuated rail assembly comprises a lag clip or a lag foot and a rail. The lag clip or lag foot includes a lag catch and an aperture to receive a fastener to selectively couple the lag clip or lag foot to the rib. The rail includes a hook. When the rail is in a first configuration, the rail is disengaged from the lag clip or lag foot. When a force is applied to the rail, it transitions to a second configuration in which the hook is coupled to the catch and the rail is engaged to the lag clip or lag foot.
CLAMP APPARATUSES AND COMPONENTS THEREOF FOR MOUNTING SOLAR PANEL MODULES
A clamp assembly includes a clamp with a lateral edge support portion that extends in a first direction to support against a lateral edge of the module. A flange extends in a second direction transverse to the first direction to clamp against an upper surface of the solar panel module in coordination with the lateral edge support portion. A nut is configured to align with the clamp. The nut receives a fastener. The nut has an outer surface to engage the second surface of the lateral edge support portion to prevent rotation of the nut. A connection member extends from the nut in a position that is fixed. A head of the connection member is shaped such that, in a first orientation, the head is accommodated passage through a slot in the intermediary member, and in a second orientation, the head is prevented from passage through the slot.
Low profile solar panel and method of manufacture
A solar panel assembly includes a substrate and a solar array coupled to the substrate. The solar array includes a plurality of photovoltaic cells. An optical layer is disposed over the solar array. The optical layer, the solar array, and the substrate together form a solar assembly. A frame surrounds the solar assembly and includes a plurality of frame members. Each frame member of the plurality of frame members includes an arcuate member that forms an aerodynamic outer edge of the frame member.
Profile pressing component
The present application provides a profile pressing component used to combine and fix profiles with side grooves. The profile pressing component includes a first mounting block and a second mounting block. The first mounting block includes a first combining part and a first fixing part. The first combining part extends upward from one end of the first fixing part in the width direction and is suitable for being clamped into the side groove of a profile, and the first fixing part is provided with at least one first convex strip on its bottom surface. The second mounting block includes a second combining part and a second fixing part. The second combining part extends upward from one end of the second fixing part in the width direction and is suitable for being clamped into the side groove of another profile, and the second fixing part has at least one hook at the other end in the width direction. When the first mounting block and the second mounting block are combined in the width direction, the at least one hook is adapted to hook the at least one first convex strip to limit the relative movement of the first fixing part and the second fixing part in the width direction.
