Temperature Regulated Preparation and Storage System
A temperature-regulated apparatus for food and drink preparation and storage, particularly for refrigeration and sous vide cooking. The apparatus is preferably a consumer electronic device comprising a compartment, base, reservoir, tube network, heating and cooling element, and an air pump system. The apparatus is controlled electronically and wirelessly in connection with a hardware and software system.
THERMOELECTRIC ENHANCED HYBRID HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS
Thermoelectric enhanced hybrid heat pump systems are provided herein. A compressor increases the pressure of refrigerant within tubing. A first heat exchanger is downstream of the compressor and changes enthalpy of first fluid flow through heat exchange with refrigerant. A second heat exchanger changes enthalpy of second fluid flow through heat exchange with refrigerant. A thermoelectric device is downstream of the first heat exchanger and reduces refrigerant temperature. Expansion valves are downstream of the thermoelectric device and first heat exchanger, respectively located on first and second sides of the thermoelectric device, and expand refrigerant and reduce refrigerant pressure while conserving refrigerant enthalpy. At least one valve reverses refrigerant flow within the tubing without changing compressor operation. A control system controls the thermoelectric device and at least one valve to switch the heat pump system from heating mode to cooling mode and from cooling mode to heating mode.

DRINKWARE CONTAINER WITH ACTIVE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
An actively heated or cooled cup or mug has a body with a chamber that can receive and hold a beverage and a heating or cooling system disposed in a cavity below the chamber. The heating or cooling system has a heating or cooling element to actively heat or cool the chamber, power storage devices, and circuitry that controls the operation of the heating or cooling elements. A sensor can detect a presence of a liquid in the chamber, the circuitry configured to turn on power to the heating or cooling elements after said liquid is detected and further configured to automatically turn off power to the heating or cooling elements upon receiving a signal indicating that the liquid in the chamber has dropped below a predetermined liquid level or been depleted completely.

THERMAL TESTING SYSTEM HAVING SAFETY FEATURE(S) AND MULTIPLE INDEPENDENTLY CONTROLLED THERMOELECTRIC COOLERS
Techniques are described herein that are capable of using variable voltage sources to control respective thermoelectric coolers independently in a thermal testing environment. The variable voltage sources create temperature differentials between first and second opposing surfaces of the thermoelectric coolers by applying input voltages to the respective thermoelectric coolers. Heat is transferred, by first heat exchanger(s), between a fluid and respective subset(s) of the thermoelectric coolers Heat is transferred, by second heat exchanger(s), between semiconductor device(s) and the subset(s) of the thermoelectric coolers.
Method and device for adjusting aquarium water temperature through direct heat exchange
A method for adjusting an aquarium water temperature through direct heat exchange by a water temperature adjustment apparatus for an aquarium includes: a first step of allowing a smart sensor unit to measure the temperature of the water; a second step of controlling a heat exchange adjuster that sunk in the water to adjust the temperature of the water based on the temperature of the water measured by the smart sensor unit; and a third step of allowing the heat exchange adjuster to adjust direct heat exchange with the water.
