Air-conditioning apparatus
An air-conditioning apparatus is capable of completing heat medium freeze prevention control more quickly by performing heat medium temperature rise control for raising the temperature of a cooled heat medium and includes a controller that adjusts a current opening degree of a bypass device at a bypass pipe to an opening degree, and that makes an adjustment such that the flow passage resistance in the case of the opening degree becomes equal to the flow passage resistance in the case of an opening degree before an expansion device is adjusted to a minimum opening degree.
AIR CONDITIONER CONSTRUCTION METHOD
Operation switching units, each changing directions of a refrigerant flowing through its associated indoor unit in response to a switch from a cooling operation to a heating operation, or vice versa, are each connected with the associated indoor unit through indoor communication pipes; a gas-liquid separation unit is connected with an outdoor unit through outdoor communication pipes; and the operation switching units are connected with the gas-liquid separation unit through two intermediate communication pipes preinstalled and one intermediate communication pipe newly installed. This provides a simple and cost-effective means for upgrading a preinstalled air conditioner making a switch from cooling to heating, and vice versa, into an air conditioner that can perform a cooling operation and a heating operation in parallel with each other.
Reversible heat pump with cycle enhancements
A cycle enhancement apparatus is provided. The apparatus has a first side entrance line and exit line, both connected to a first side of a refrigerant line, and a second side entrance line and exit line, both connected to a second side of the refrigerant line. One-way valves prevent flow through the first side entrance line toward the first side, through the first side exit line away from the first side, through the second side entrance line toward the second side, and through the second side exit line away from the second side. The apparatus has a cycle enhancement line. The cycle enhancement line has an entrance portion, connected to the first side entrance line and the second side entrance line, an exit portion, connected to the first side exit line and the second side exit line, and a cycle enhancement between the entrance portion and the exit portion.
Air-conditioning apparatus and method of designing same
An air-conditioning apparatus includes a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor, a heat-source-side heat exchanger, an expansion device, and a refrigerant flow path in at least one intermediate heat exchanger are connected by a refrigerant pipe, and a heat medium circuit in which a pump, a use-side heat exchanger, and a heat-medium flow path in the at least one intermediate heat exchanger are connected by a heat-medium conveying pipe, the heat medium circuit being configured to cause a heat medium to circulate therethrough. The at least one intermediate heat exchanger comprises a plurality of intermediate heat exchangers. The plurality of intermediate heat exchangers are operative in a heating only operation mode, a cooling only operation mode, and a cooling and heating mixed operation mode in which some of the intermediate heat exchangers serve as the condenser and others of the intermediate heat exchangers serve as the evaporator.
AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
An air-conditioning apparatus includes a refrigeration cycle circulating refrigerant and connecting a compressor, a heat-source-side heat exchanger, one or more of load-side expansion devices, and one or more of load-side heat exchangers by refrigerant pipes, a bypass having one end connected to a discharge side of the compressor of the refrigeration cycle and the other end connected to a suction side of the compressor of the refrigeration cycle to bypass a portion of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor, a first expansion device depressurizing the refrigerant flowing through the bypass, an auxiliary heat exchanger cooling the refrigerant depressurized at the first expansion device, a second expansion device controlling a flow rate of the refrigerant flowing from the auxiliary heat exchanger to the suction side of the compressor, and a controller controlling an opening degree of the second expansion device.
Multistage compression system
A multistage compression system uses refrigerant and oil. The multistage compression system includes a low-stage compressor that compresses the refrigerant, a high-stage compressor that further compresses the refrigerant compressed by the low-stage compressor, refrigerant pipes that-introduce the refrigerant compressed and discharged by the low-stage compressor into a suction part of the high-stage compressor, a pressure reducing element disposed between the refrigerant pipes, an accumulator disposed between the refrigerant pipes at a downstream side of the pressure reducing element and at an upstream side of the high-stage compressor, and an oil discharge pipe. The oil discharge pipe discharges the oil in the low-stage compressor. The oil discharge pipe connects the low-stage compressor and a portion of the refrigerant pipes. The portion of the refrigerant pipes is on a downstream side of the pressure reducing element and an upstream side of the accumulator.
Multistage compression system
A multistage compression system uses refrigerant and oil. The multistage compression system includes a low-stage compressor that compresses the refrigerant, a high-stage compressor that further compresses the refrigerant compressed by the low-stage compressor, an oil return pipe that returns the oil discharged by the high-stage compressor to the low-stage compressor, and an oil discharge pipe that discharges the oil in the low-stage compressor. The low-stage compressor includes a compression part that compresses the refrigerant, a motor that drives the compression part, and a container that houses the compression part and the motor. The container forms a high-pressure space storing compressed refrigerant. Inside of the oil return pipe and inside of the oil discharge pipe are connected to the high-pressure space.
Air-conditioning apparatus
An air-conditioning apparatus includes a controller which calculates a composition ratio of a refrigerant mixture using a high-pressure-side pressure of a refrigerant discharged from a compressor, a low-pressure-side pressure of a refrigerant to be sucked into the compressor, a high-pressure-side temperature of a refrigerant at an inlet side of a second expansion device in a high/low pressure bypass pipe, and a low-pressure-side temperature of a refrigerant at an outlet side of the second expansion device in the high/low pressure bypass pipe and which determines whether to open or close a bypass-channel opening/closing device.
Air-conditioning apparatus
When indoor units are performing a cooling operation, an air-conditioning apparatus controls four flow passage switching valves, for example a first solenoid valve, a second solenoid valve, a third solenoid valve, and a fourth solenoid valve, so that a number of intermediate heat exchangers operating as evaporators is greater than in a cooling main operation. During the cooling main operation, a target value for suction pressure or evaporating temperature at a compressor is set equal to or lower than that in a case in which the indoor units are performing the cooling operation, and a frequency of the compressor and a capacity of a heat-source-side heat exchanger are controlled.
Air-conditioning apparatus with simultaneous heating and cooling operation
In a heating main operation mode in which a load to be processed by the heating operation is dominant during cooling and heating mixed operation, an air-conditioning apparatus closes an opening and closing valve, and adjust the opening degree of an expansion device in accordance with the evaporating temperature of a load-side unit requesting cooling.
