Reversible liquid suction gas heat exchanger
A heat pump system includes a compressor, indoor heat exchanger, outdoor heat exchanger, and expansion valve. A main flow control device fluidly couples a discharge line to the outdoor heat exchanger when the heat pump system is in a cooling mode, and fluidly couples the discharge line to the indoor heat exchanger when the heat pump system is in a heating mode. An intermediate heat exchanger is configured to receive working fluid from the outdoor heat exchanger in a cooling mode and from the indoor heat exchanger in a heating mode. The intermediate heat exchanger is configured to superheat or sub-cool a working fluid therein. A secondary flow control device is configured to control a directional flow of working fluid between the indoor heat exchanger, the outdoor heat exchanger and the intermediate heat exchanger. A controller is operably coupled to the main and secondary flow control devices.
Air-conditioning system of a motor vehicle and method for operating the air-conditioning system
The invention concerns an air conditioning system for the conditioning of the air of a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. The air conditioning system has a refrigerant circuit with a compressor, a refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger for desuperheating the refrigerant after the compression, a first refrigerant-air heat exchanger and a second refrigerant-air heat exchanger, and at least one coolant circuit. The coolant circuit has a heating heat exchanger for heating an air mass flow being supplied to the passenger compartment. The refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger is designed as a component of the coolant circuit having the heating heat exchanger. The air conditioning system is designed for an operation in refrigerator mode, in heat pump mode, and in afterheating mode for the heating, cooling, and dehumidification of the air being supplied to the passenger compartment. A valve arrangement switches the air conditioning system between the different operating modes.
Air-conditioning apparatus with temperature controlled pump operation
An air-conditioning apparatus includes a refrigeration cycle that includes an intermediate heat exchanger configured to exchange heat between a heat source side refrigerant and a heat medium different from the heat source side refrigerant. The apparatus further includes a heat medium circuit that includes at least one pump configured to circulate the heat medium in the intermediate heat exchanger. A controller in the apparatus further activates the pump to circulate the heat medium through the heat medium circuit when, during suspension of an air conditioning operation, the detected temperature of outdoor air is at or below a first predetermined temperature and a first predetermined period of time has elapsed since the pump was stopped.
Heat source side unit and air-conditioning apparatus
A heat source side unit connected to load side units by pipes and constituting a refrigerant circuit, includes a compressor that compresses refrigerant and discharges the refrigerant, a heat source side heat exchanger that serves as an evaporator or a radiator, a gas-liquid separator that separates inflow refrigerant into liquid refrigerant and gas refrigerant, a liquid refrigerant outlet from which the liquid refrigerant flows out being connected to a connecting pipe at a refrigerant inflow side in a case where the heat source side heat exchanger serves as the evaporator, a sixth connecting pipe that connects a gas refrigerant outlet of the gas-liquid separator from which the gas refrigerant flows out to a pipe at a refrigerant outflow side in a case where the heat source side heat exchanger serves as the evaporator, and an expansion device that controls passage of refrigerant in the sixth connecting pipe.
Reversible heat pump with cycle enhancements
A cycle enhancement apparatus is provided. The apparatus has a first side entrance line and exit line, both connected to a first side of a refrigerant line, and a second side entrance line and exit line, both connected to a second side of the refrigerant line. One-way valves prevent flow through the first side entrance line toward the first side, through the first side exit line away from the first side, through the second side entrance line toward the second side, and through the second side exit line away from the second side. The apparatus has a cycle enhancement line. The cycle enhancement line has an entrance portion, connected to the first side entrance line and the second side entrance line, an exit portion, connected to the first side exit line and the second side exit line, and a cycle enhancement between the entrance portion and the exit portion.
REFRIGERATION CYCLE APPARATUS
A second flow path switching apparatus includes a first distribution apparatus configured to distribute refrigerant to a plurality of refrigerant paths in a first heat exchange portion, a second distribution apparatus configured to distribute refrigerant to the plurality of refrigerant paths in the first heat exchange portion and a second heat exchange portion, and a switch portion configured to switch connection of a refrigerant inlet of a first heat exchange apparatus to the first distribution apparatus or to the second distribution apparatus and switch whether refrigerant which flows out of a refrigerant outlet of the first heat exchange portion is allowed to pass through the second heat exchange portion or to merge with refrigerant which flows out of a refrigerant outlet of the second heat exchange portion in accordance with whether an order of circulation of the refrigerant is a first order (cooling) or a second order (heating).
Heat pump system
A heat pump system includes a first unit; a second unit connected to a first flow path of the first unit; and a third unit connected to a second flow path of the first unit and connected to the second unit. The heat pump system can operate in a cooling and water heating mode and a heating and water heating mode, wherein, in the cooling and water heating mode, the heat pump system is configured to switch a switching assembly to a first position and connect the at least one first heat exchangers and the second heat exchanger in series; in the heating and water heating mode, the heat pump system is configured to switch the switching assembly to a second position and connect the second heat exchanger and the at least one third heat exchangers in parallel.
Air-conditioning apparatus
An air-conditioning apparatus includes a primary-side circuit in which a compressor, a first flow switching device, an outdoor heat exchanger, a second flow switching device, a first expansion device, and a relay heat exchanger are connected by pipes and in which refrigerant circulates; a secondary-side circuit in which the relay heat exchanger, a pump, a plurality of indoor heat exchangers, and heat medium flow control devices are connected by pipes and in which a heat medium circulates; and a controller configured to control the first and second flow switching devices such that in cooling and heating operations, the refrigerant and a heat-source-side fluid flow through the outdoor heat exchanger in opposite directions and the refrigerant flows through the relay heat exchanger in a constant direction. The pump is installed such that the heat medium, the refrigerant flow, and air for an air-conditioning target space flow in particular directions.
Outdoor unit and heat pump system
The present application provides an outdoor unit and a heat pump system. The outdoor unit includes a compressor, a valve assembly, an outdoor heat exchanger, a first pipeline port and a second pipeline port; a first branch that connects the valve assembly and the first pipeline port, the first branch being provided with the outdoor heat exchanger and a first switch valve assembly; a second branch that connects the mode switch valve assembly and the first pipeline port, wherein the second branch is provided with a second switch valve assembly; a third branch that connects the second pipeline port and the refrigerant inlet of the outdoor heat exchanger. The first and second switch valve assemblies control the on and off of the first branch and the second branch so that the refrigerant flows through the refrigerant inlet and the refrigerant outlet of the outdoor heat exchanger.
Air-conditioning apparatus
An air-conditioning apparatus includes a refrigeration cycle circulating refrigerant and connecting a compressor, a heat-source-side heat exchanger, one or more of load-side expansion devices, and one or more of load-side heat exchangers by refrigerant pipes, a bypass having one end connected to a discharge side of the compressor of the refrigeration cycle and the other end connected to a suction side of the compressor of the refrigeration cycle to bypass a portion of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor, a first expansion device depressurizing the refrigerant flowing through the bypass, an auxiliary heat exchanger cooling the refrigerant depressurized at the first expansion device, a second expansion device controlling a flow rate of the refrigerant flowing from the auxiliary heat exchanger to the suction side of the compressor, and a controller controlling an opening degree of the second expansion device.
