Heat source-side unit and refrigeration apparatus
A heat source-side unit (10) includes a heat source-side circuit (11). The heat source-side circuit (11) includes a compression unit (20) including a lower-stage compression element (23) and a higher-stage compression element (21), an intermediate heat exchanger (17) disposed on a refrigerant path between the lower-stage compression element (23) and the higher-stage compression element (21), and a bypass passage (23c) connected to a suction pipe (23a) and a discharge pipe (23b) each connected to the lower-stage compression element (23). At startup of the compression unit (20), a first action is performed for stopping the lower-stage compression element (23) and operating the higher-stage compression element (21). This configuration thus suppresses occurrence of liquid compression at startup of a compressor.
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
An air conditioning system includes: an outdoor unit; indoor units; one or more refrigerant flow path switching devices that switch flow paths of a refrigerant between the outdoor unit and the indoor units; and external pipes extending from the outdoor unit to the indoor units. The air conditioning system is configured such that a sum of a first value and a first correction value is equal to or less than a predetermined upper limit value determined based on an industrial standard, where the first value is based on a total length of the external pipes from the outdoor unit to the indoor units via the one or more refrigerant flow path switching device, and the first correction value is based on a sum of capabilities of the indoor units connected to the one or more refrigerant flow path switching devices.
Heat pump system and control method therefor
A heat pump system and a control method therefor. The heat pump system includes a compressor; an indoor heal exchanger; an outdoor heat exchanger, including a first heat exchange portion and a second heat exchange portion, wherein a flow path switching device is provided between the first heat exchange portion and the second heat exchange portion to disconnect or communicate the first heat exchange portion and the second heat exchange portion; a first four-way valve; and a second four-way valve, configured to enable a high-temperature refrigerant to be input into the first heat exchange portion in a heating mode, so as to enable the heat pump system to operate in a heating and deicing mode.
Heat pump boiler
A heat pump boiler is disclosed. The heat pump boiler includes a compressor. The heat pump boiler further includes an exterior heat exchanger that is configured to transfer heat between refrigerant and exterior air. The heat pump boiler further includes an interior heat exchanger that is configured to transfer heat between refrigerant and water. The heat pump boiler further includes a channel change valve that is configured to provide refrigerant compressed by the compressor to the exterior heat exchanger or the interior heat exchanger. The heat pump boiler further includes a first boiler heat exchanger that is configured to heat water that has passed through the interior heat exchanger from heat generated through combustion. The heat pump boiler further includes a second boiler heat exchanger that is configured to transfer heat between refrigerant and gas discharged from the first boiler heat exchanger.
Refrigeration apparatus that operates a utilization unit based on drivability of a compressor in a heat source unit
The heat source controller transmits the drive permission signal (SE) to the utilization controller when the compression element is drivable. The utilization controller opens a utilization expansion valve when heat exchange in a utilization heat exchanger is required, on condition that the utilization controller receive the drive permission signal (SE).
Refrigeration apparatus
A refrigeration apparatus includes a heat source-side unit and a utilization-side unit that are connected to each other, and performs a refrigeration cycle in which a high pressure of a refrigerant reaches or exceeds a critical pressure. The refrigeration apparatus also includes a control unit configured to perform a first action of returning the refrigerant to the heat source-side unit when a stop condition of the utilization-side unit is satisfied, and a second action of prohibiting the first action when a pressure at the heat source-side unit is equal to or more than the critical pressure of the refrigerant. This configuration suppresses damage to a refrigerant storage reservoir and the like in returning the refrigerant to the heat source-side unit.
Air-conditioning apparatus
In an air-conditioning apparatus including a refrigerant circulating circuit A and a heat medium circulating circuit B that performs passing of heat to and from the refrigerant circulating circuit A, the heat medium circulating circuit is a closed circuit, the maximum pump head Pp of a pump of the heat medium circulating circuit is 150 kPa or more, and a pressure near at least a suction side of the pump is set to a charged pressure that is maintained equal to or higher than the atmospheric pressure during operation of the pump.
DRY COOLING SYSTEM USING THERMALLY INDUCED VAPOR POLYMERIZATION
A system and method for providing dry cooling of a source liquid, having a plurality of heat exchangers which depolymerize and polymerize a polymer. Specifically, the depolymerization process is endothermic and draws heat from a source liquid in a first heat exchanger, and the polymerization process is exothermic and expels heat from a second heat exchanger. Additional heat exchangers and holding tanks may be incorporated in the system and method. In some embodiments the system further provides additional cooling of the polymer prior to depolymerization using cooler night ambient air.
Air-conditioning apparatus with regulation of injection flow rate
An air-conditioning apparatus includes a suction-injection pipe that introduces a refrigerant in a liquid or two-phase state into a suction side of a compressor, an expansion device that is arranged at the suction-injection pipe, and a controller that regulates the suction-injection flow rate of a refrigerant introduced into the suction side of the compressor through the suction-injection pipe by controlling the opening degree of the expansion device.
