Further, the solar energy system comprises a second heat exchange system arranged to operate using energy from an energy source other than a solar energy source. The solar energy system is arranged for transfer of thermal energy between the first heat exchange system and a region, and between the second heat exchange system and the region. The solar energy system is arranged to control a relative contribution of the first and second heat exchange systems to the transfer of the thermal energy.
AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE, EJECTOR USED THEREIN, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to an air conditioning device having a plurality of ejectors, the air conditioning device comprising a plurality of ejectors which have a refrigerant circuit comprising a compressor, a condenser and an evaporator, are connected in parallel to the refrigerant circuit, and are formed so as to each have a different maximum refrigerant flow, and a control unit which, according to a driving condition of the air conditioning device, controls so that the refrigerant flows to one ejector among the plurality of ejectors, and the refrigerant does not flow to the rest of the ejectors.
MULTI-ZONE TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION SYSTEM WITH AN EJECTOR SYSTEM
Methods and systems for a MTRS with an ejector system are provided. The system can include a refrigeration circuit that has a compressor, a first heat exchanger downstream of the compressor, first and second heat exchange units downstream of the first heat exchanger, and an ejector system downstream of the first and second heat exchange units and upstream of the compressor. The first heat exchange unit provides independent climate control to a first zone of the transport unit. The second heat exchange unit provides independent climate control to a second zone of the transport unit. The ejector system mixes refrigerant exiting the first heat exchange unit with refrigerant exiting the second heat exchange unit, increases the pressure of the mixed refrigerant, and directs the mixed refrigerant to the compressor.
Ejector Heat Pump
A vapor compression system (200; 400; 600; 700; 800; 900; 1000) comprises a plurality of valves (260, 262, 264; 260) controllable to define a first mode flowpath and a second mode flowpath. The first mode flowpath is sequentially through: a compressor (22); a first heat exchanger (30); a first nozzle (228; 624); and a separator (48), and then branching into: a first branch returning to the compressor; and a second branch passing through an expansion device (70) and a second heat exchanger (64) to the rejoin the flowpath between the first heat exchanger and the separator. The second mode flowpath is sequentially through: the compressor; the second heat exchanger; a second nozzle (248; 625); and the separator, and then branching into: a first branch returning to the compressor; and a second branch passing through the expansion device and first heat exchanger to the rejoin the flowpath between the first heat exchanger and the separator.
Ejector System and Methods of Operation
A vapor compression system (200; 300; 400) comprising: a compressor (22); a first heat exchanger (30); a second heat exchanger (64); an ejector (38); separator (48); and an expansion device (70). A plurality of conduits are positioned to define a first flowpath sequentially through: the compressor; the first heat exchanger; the ejector from a motive flow inlet through (40) an outlet (44); and the separator, and then branching into: a first branch returning to the compressor; and a second branch passing through the expansion device and second heat exchanger to a secondary flow inlet (42). The plurality of conduits are positioned to define a bypass flowpath (202; 302; 402) bypassing the motive flow inlet and rejoining the first flowpath at essentially separator pressure but away from the separator.
EJECTOR-INTEGRATED HEAT EXCHANGER
An ejector-integrated heat exchanger includes multiple tube forming members. The tube forming member includes an ejector, a flow-out side refrigerant passage, and a suction side refrigerant passage. The ejector includes a nozzle portion decompressing a refrigerant, a refrigerant suction port, and a pressure increasing portion in which the refrigerant drawn from the refrigerant suction port and the refrigerant jetted from the nozzle portion are mixed, a pressure of the mixed refrigerant being increased in the pressure increasing portion. In the flow-out side refrigerant passage, the refrigerant flowing out of the pressure increasing portion performs heat exchange while flowing. In the suction side refrigerant passage, the refrigerant that is to be drawn through the refrigerant suction port performs heat exchange while flowing. Multiple tube forming members are arranged such that the refrigerant flows in parallel with each other.
Ejector
In an ejector, a passage formation member is disposed inside a body forming a space therein. Provided between an inner peripheral surface of the body and the passage formation member are a nozzle passage functioning as a nozzle, a mixing passage in which an ejection refrigerant ejected from the nozzle passage and a suction refrigerant drawn through a suction passage are mixed together, and a diffuser passage that converts a kinetic energy of the refrigerant that has flowed out of the mixing passage into a pressure energy. The mixing passage has a shape gradually reducing in cross-sectional area toward a downstream side in the refrigerant flow.
