Economizer control systems and methods
An economizer control system includes a compressor including a compression area, a piston chamber, and an economizer inlet configured to receive economizer vapor into the compression area via a flow path that extends between the economizer inlet and the compression area. At least a portion of the flow path traverses the piston chamber. The economizer control system also includes a piston disposed within the piston chamber and configured to contact the economizer vapor. The piston is moveable between an open position that opens the flow path and a closed position that closes the flow path. Additionally, the economizer control system includes a biasing system configured to apply force to the piston to bias the piston toward the closed position.
Combined heat exchanger, heat exchanging system and the optimization method thereof
A combined heat exchanger, a heat exchange system, and an optimization method thereof are provided. The heat exchange system includes: an enhanced vapor injection compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve and an evaporator, which are located in a main circuit; wherein the heat exchange system further includes a first branch branched from the main circuit to an vapor injection port of the compressor at a branch point P downstream of the condenser, and a first heat exchange unit and a second heat exchange unit are further provided in the main circuit between the branch point P and the expansion valve; and wherein a refrigerant leaving the condenser is divided at the branch point P into a first portion passing through the first heat exchange unit and the second heat exchange unit from the main circuit, and a second portion passing through the first branch to the vapor injection port.
Cooling system with compressor bypass
A cooling system is designed to generally allow for one or more compressors to be bypassed when ambient temperatures are low. The system includes a bypass line and valve that opens when ambient temperatures are low and/or when the pressure of the refrigerant in the system is low. In this manner, the refrigerant can flow through the bypass line instead of through one or more compressors. These compressors may then be shut off. To supply any needed pressure to cycle the refrigerant, the system may include a pump that turns on when the bypass line is open. When ambient temperatures are extremely low, thermosiphon may be used to cycle the refrigerant.
Cooling System And Laboratory Instrument Having A Cooling System
The application relates to a cooling system, the cooling system having: an evaporator, a first compressor, a second compressor, a cooling component, an expansion device and a line system that connects the evaporator, the first compressor, the second compressor, the cooling component and the expansion device to one another. The cooling system includes a refrigerant, wherein the refrigerant comprises carbon dioxide. The first compressor and the second compressor are arranged in series with one another. The application also relates to a corresponding laboratory instrument.
Gas-liquid separator and air conditioner having the same
Provided is a gas-liquid separator, including a connection pipe connected to a refrigerant pipe in the evaporator, the refrigerant pipe in which a two-phase refrigerant flows, a header connected to the connection pipe, wherein a gas refrigerant separated from the two-phase refrigerant flows inside the header, a bypass pipe connected to the header to guide a flow of the gas refrigerant to a compressor, a flow rate control valve installed at the bypass pipe, and a controller configured to control opening and closing of the flow rate control valve based on whether a preset condition is satisfied.
Air conditioner and method for controlling the same
The present disclosure provides an air conditioner. The air conditioner includes a compressor; a sensor for measuring the compressors state configured to detect compressor state information that includes at least one of a pressure value and a saturation temperature of the compressor; and a controller configured to control air flow on the side of an indoor unit by comparing the compressor state information measured from the sensor and a threshold.
Control Of Refrigerant Injection Into A Compressor In An Economized Refrigeration Cycle
A method of controlling injection into a compressor in a refrigeration cycle is described. A refrigeration cycle may comprise at least an economizer heat exchanger, a heat rejection heat exchanger, a first expansion device, and a compressor. A discharge port of the compressor is connected to the heat rejection heat exchanger via a discharge line and an injection port of the compressor is connected to the means for compressing. The economizer heat exchanger comprises a first path having an input connected to the heat rejection heat exchanger and an output connected to the first expansion device, and a second path having an input connected to the heat rejection heat exchanger via an economizer valve and an output connected to the injection port of the compressor via an injection line. The economizer valve is regulated based on a superheat level of the refrigerant in the economizer heat exchanger.
