REFRIGERATOR
A refrigerator comprising a refrigerator body provided with a refrigerating compartment, an ice maker, an ice-making air duct, a first fan assembly disposed in the ice-making air duct and an ice maker evaporator is disclosed. The ice-making air duct comprises an air inlet duct and an air return duct, which are both disposed in a foaming layer of the refrigerating compartment, and one ends thereof close to the ice maker extend into a foaming layer on a door body of the ice maker. The first fan assembly is detachably disposed in the air return duct, and may be integrally disassembled from and installed in the air return duct. The ice maker evaporator is disposed between the air inlet duct and the air return duct and at the side far away from the ice maker.
DATA CENTER FACILITY INCLUDING EXTERNAL WALL PENETRATING AIR HANDLING UNITS
Described herein is a data center that provides for efficient cooling using HVAC units positioned outside of the facility.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OBTAINING WATER FROM AIR
Described is a system and method for extracting water from air using a vector drive control system. The water-extraction system may compress ambient air before it comes into contact with an evaporator. The vector drive control system may adjust the speed of one or more motors to increase efficiency and may control a pressure chamber capable of compression and expansion.
System and method for controlling HVAC equipment so as to obtain a desired range of a sound pressure level and/or sound power level
A system and method for controlling the operation of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment so as to achieve a desired range of a sound pressure level and/or a sound power level is described. The system and method can lead to a desired range of a sound pressure level and/or a sound power level for a zone using equipment that is typically included in HVAC systems. Such control of equipment can be important for privacy and comfort requirements.
Facility including externally disposed data center air handling units
Described herein is an integrated data center that provides for efficient cooling, as well as efficient wire routing.
Defrost control using fan data
In various implementations, frost in a vapor compression system may be controlled. A property of a fan may be determined. A determination may be made whether a frost event and/or a nonfrost event has occurred based at least partially on the determined fan property.
REFRIGERATING AND AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM AND SYSTEM CONTROLLER
A refrigerating and air-conditioning system includes a plurality of independent refrigerating and air-conditioning apparatuses each including a refrigerant circuit and a defrosting unit, and further includes a system controller managing the apparatuses in an integrative manner. The system controller includes a defrosting operation control unit. When a time interval between an estimated defrosting start time calculated for a given refrigerating and air-conditioning apparatus and a subsequent estimated defrosting start time calculated for another refrigerating and air-conditioning apparatus is less than or equal to a predetermined target start time interval, the defrosting operation control unit transmits a defrosting start instruction signal to the defrosting unit of the given refrigerating and air-conditioning apparatus.
ICE MAKING ASSEMBLY WITH TWIST ICE TRAY AND DIRECTIONAL COOLING
A method of making clear ice including filling an ice piece forming tray having an axis of rotation, a distal end, a motor engaging end, and plurality of ice piece making compartments with water. Freezing the water into ice by providing heat sinks disposed on and thermally connected to a bottom side of the ice piece forming tray. Removing heat from the plurality of heat sinks. Removing defrost water from the heat sinks by providing at least one defrost water channel along the axis of rotation, providing at least one defrost water channel along one of the distal end and the motor engaging end and connected to the defrost water channel along the axis of rotation. And delivering defrost water to a drain or defrost water catch tray positioned at one of the distal end and the motor engaging end.
CLEAR ICE MAKING APPLIANCE AND METHOD OF SAME
An aspect of the present disclosure is generally directed to an ice making appliance that includes: an ice making compartment and an ice maker including an ice mold having a total water capacity. The ice mold includes a plurality of ice wells and is configured to release the ice cubes without the use of a heater and by twisting the ice mold. The ice wells are typically no more than about 12.2 mm in depth from a top surface of the ice mold and have a volume of about 20 mL or less. The ice maker is capable of producing at least about 3.5 lbs. of ice or more in a 24 hour span.
CONTROL DEVICE, PROGRAM, CONTROL METHOD OF REFRIGERATOR, AND REFRIGERATOR
A control device that controls a compressor and an in-refrigerator fan to circulate cool air in a refrigerator including first and second storage compartments, includes a controller that controls a rotational speed of the compressor and the in-refrigerator fan based on an outside air temperature of the refrigerator, and a calculator that calculates an average internal temperature of the second storage compartment during one cycle from when the compressor stops an operation until when the compressor stops a next operation. The controller controls an operation and stoppage of the compressor based on an internal temperature of the first storage compartment and corrects the rotational speed of the in-refrigerator fan when the compressor operates during a next cycle based on a comparison result between the average temperature and a threshold.
