A method of controlling an air conditioner including activating a refrigeration cycle by driving an compressor; detecting a high pressure and a low pressure when the refrigeration cycle is activated; adjusting an operating frequency of the compressor based on the detected high pressure or low pressure of the refrigeration cycle; determining a current load of an inside space through a load detecting unit; determining a load level of the inside space by comparing the current load with a reference load; and determining the operating frequency of the compressor based on the determined load level.

REFRIGERATION SYSTEM AND ITS PRESSURE BALANCE CONTROL DEVICE
20170227271 · 2017-08-10 ·

A refrigeration system with pressure balancing function includes a condensing unit, a first refrigerant delivery pipeline, and a pressure balance control device including a temperature control unit, a first refrigerant control valve and a refrigerant supply switching controller. The temperature control unit determines if the temperature of the evaporator is abnormal, generates a temperature adjustment trigger signal that shifts between adjustment level and non-adjustment level. The refrigerant supply switching controller will determine, based on the level of the temperature adjustment trigger signal, whether to output the valve-open signal to the first refrigerant control valve. When the temperature adjustment trigger signal received by the refrigerant supply switching controller is at the adjustment level, the refrigerant supply switching controller will not output the valve-open signal to the first refrigerant control valve, so that the first refrigerant control valve is closed to stop delivering the refrigerant to the first refrigerant delivery pipeline.

METHOD OF AND SYSTEM FOR MINIMIZATION OF CONDENSER-FAN CYCLING FOR LOW AMBIENT TEMPERATURE

A method of controlling a heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) system includes measuring an ambient temperature and determining whether the ambient temperature is below a threshold temperature value. Responsive to a determination that the ambient temperature is below the threshold temperature value, measuring a condenser-fan cycle time of the HVAC system and setting a speed of the compressor based on the measured condenser-fan cycle time.

A refrigeration system includes a valve and a controller. The valve is configured to control the flow of refrigerant into an evaporator, the refrigerant having an associated liquid setting comprising a temperature and a pressure at which the refrigerant flows through the valve. The controller is operable to adjust the liquid setting, the adjusted liquid setting comprising a temperature and a pressure selected to improve energy efficiency under conditions currently being experienced by the refrigeration system, wherein the controller is operable to adjust the temperature and the pressure simultaneously such that the adjustment does not interfere with operation of the valve.

A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A VARIABLE CAPACITY EJECTOR UNIT
20170261245 · 2017-09-14 ·

A method for controlling a variable capacity ejector unit (7) arranged in a refrigeration system (1) is disclosed. An ejector control signal for the ejector unit (7) is generated, based on an obtained temperature and an obtained pressure of refrigerant leaving a heat rejecting heat exchanger (3), or on the basis of a high pressure valve control signal for controlling an opening degree of a high pressure valve (6) arranged fluidly in parallel with the ejector unit (7). The ejector control signal indicates whether the capacity of the ejector unit (7) should be increased, decreased or maintained. The capacity of the ejector unit (7) is controlled in accordance with the generated ejector control signal. The power consumption of the refrigeration system (1) is reduced, while the pressure of the refrigerant leaving the heat rejecting heat exchanger (3) is maintained at an acceptable level.
