A device for producing an elongate ingot of clear ice comprises a housing comprising at least one flume surface wall that defines at least one elongate trough; at least one fluid intake disposed to provide a flow of liquid into the at least one elongate trough; at least one drain disposed to drain liquid from at least one elongate trough; wherein the at least a portion of the at least one flume surface wall is in thermal communication with a cooling source; and wherein the at least one fluid intake and the at least one drain are adapted to provide a substantially constant flow of fluid to the at least one elongate trough during a freezing operation of the device. The cooling source can be an internal cooling cavity.

The refrigerator includes a body including a storage compartment, and an icemaker provided inside the storage compartment, wherein the icemaker includes a first tray provided to form ice cubes having a first size, the first tray including a first rotating shaft, a second tray provided to form ice cubes having a second size, the second tray including a second rotating shaft, a first motor unit coupled to the front portion of the first rotating shaft of the first tray, a second motor unit coupled to the front portion of the second rotating shaft of the second tray, and an ice-making housing having a plurality of motor mounting frames at one surface thereof, and having a plurality of support frames at the other surface thereof so as to support the rear portions of the first and second rotating shafts respectively.

A refrigerator is provided. The refrigerator includes a body including a storage compartment, and an icemaker provided inside the storage compartment, wherein the icemaker includes a first tray provided to form ice cubes having a first size, the first tray including a first rotating shaft, a second tray provided to form ice cubes having a second size, the second tray including a second rotating shaft, a first motor unit coupled to the front portion of the first rotating shaft of the first tray, a second motor unit coupled to the front portion of the second rotating shaft of the second tray, and an ice-making housing having a plurality of motor mounting frames at one surface thereof, and having a plurality of support frames at the other surface thereof so as to support the rear portions of the first and second rotating shafts respectively.

The first leg is disposed within the first passage.

The present invention relates to a refrigerator. A refrigerator of the present invention may comprise: a first tray assembly forming a part of an ice making cell; and a second tray assembly forming another part of the ice making cell. The first tray assembly includes a first tray defining a part of the ice making cell and a first tray case supporting the first tray, and the second tray assembly includes a second tray defining another part of the ice making cell and a second tray case supporting the second tray. One of the first and second tray cases includes a first region having a through-hole and a second region having a shape corresponding to the ice making cell to support one of the first and second trays.

Refrigerator

The present invention relates to a refrigerator. A refrigerator of the present invention may comprise: a first tray assembly forming a part of an ice making cell; and a second tray assembly forming another part of the ice making cell. The first tray assembly includes a first tray defining a part of the ice making cell and a first tray case supporting the first tray, and the second tray assembly includes a second tray defining another part of the ice making cell and a second tray case supporting the second tray. One of the first and second tray cases includes a first region having a through-hole and a second region having a shape corresponding to the ice making cell to support one of the first and second trays.

A refrigerator includes: a cabinet in which a refrigerating compartment is provided; a first door connected to the cabinet to open and close the refrigerating compartment and having an opening; a housing provided in the first door and accessible through the opening therein; an ice making room provided in the housing; a storage room that is provided below the ice making room and maintained at a temperature different from that of the refrigerating compartment; a guide duct provided below the ice making room to guide discharge of ice; a second door connected to the first door; a dispenser disposed on a front surface of the second door; and a discharge duct provided in the second door, wherein, when the second door is closed, the guide duct communicates with the discharge duct, and ice made in the ice making room is discharged to the dispenser.

A refrigerator includes: a cabinet in which a refrigerating compartment is provided; a first door connected to the cabinet to open and close the refrigerating compartment and having an opening; a housing provided in the first door and accessible through the opening therein; an ice making room provided in the housing; a storage room that is provided below the ice making room and maintained at a temperature different from that of the refrigerating compartment; a guide duct provided below the ice making room to guide discharge of ice; a second door connected to the first door; a dispenser disposed on a front surface of the second door; and a discharge duct provided in the second door, wherein, when the second door is closed, the guide duct communicates with the discharge duct, and ice made in the ice making room is discharged to the dispenser.
